Love my kitchen now!
Although my kitchen has a lot of lower cabinets it was hard to utilize the space. Adding the sliding shelves has completely transformed the functionality of the cabinets. I installed 2 slides in each cabinet, doubling capacity and creating easy access. Ordering the Slide-A-Shelf product was well defined and easy. The shelves arrived ahead of expected delivery and were well packaged. The shelves are excellent quality..I ordered the pre finished birch. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who wants to improve access to lower cabinets.

Happy, but learned some lessons
VERY HAPPY with the drawers. They slide easily in and out. The drawer box quality is excellent. Suggestions: 1-The order form should ask for height of the inside bottom lip and let the customer know if a shim will be required. 2-Please elongate the template to provide holes for the back screws as well. 3-Label the railings to correspond with the drawers. 4-The railing clips for removing the drawer are a soft plastic/rubber – I suggest a stronger material for the clips.

Professional look and VERY functional
Easy install and wow, what a difference! Much better utilization of available space. As we get a little older, it really became a chore to access lower shelves. We installed slide a shelf in every cabinet and now that item used once every month or so is easily attained.

Look at me - I'm a custom cabinet guy!
I needed some extra storage space in my RV, and created a huge hole removing a 1970's vintage microwave, but thought I might have to go to a cabinet maker ($$$) to turn the cavity into storage space. Then I stumbled on this option, as well as the custom cabinet door program. In the end, I spent around $200 for both, which is less than I'd expected to do the project for. The quality of the drawer seems to be first-rate, as is the hardware. The ordering / spec'ing process is dead easy, though I would suggest leaving a little "wiggle room" when spec'ing the size, just to accommodate the inevitable little nuances that you might not have considered.

Game Changer
58 year old kitchen has two feet deep cabinets that were a challenge at best because pans/lids would get lost in the back. Not any more! Slide-a-Shelf shelves were a game changer. Easy to install and extraordinarily well built. We love them.

Read and Follow the Directions!
As part of a semi-major kitchen cabinet upgrade, I ordered 8 of the Slide-A-Shelves. The investment was a big one as DIY projects go and I held my breath with every measurement I submitted. Fortunately, the explicit illustrated instructions provided by the manufacturer for measuring, and later for installing, these shelves ensured success. With two exceptions, I was able to install each shelf without having to re-drill screw holes. When our family visited at Christmas, I was able to throw open the cabinet doors and royally impress them with our "new" more organized and functional deep cabinets. Definitely recommend thoroughly reading the ordering and installation instructions and, per the age-old cliche, "measure twice, cut once".

Well made and smooth slides!
I just purchased and installed two of these custom sliding shelves for a large island cabinet. We needed easier access to our pots and pans with better space utilization. My shelves are about 24" wide and are plenty strong with no sagging, even with all our heavy cookware on them. The ones we bought extend fully and have the soft close feature. The installation and measuring instructions are extremely long and overly wordy, like the complete opposite of Ikea instructions. (No lie, 10 full pages, tons of reading, to install just 4 screws! LOL) Overall I'm very happy with the quality and value of these shelves and can see them lasting a long time.
