These devices support a lot of weight by themselves. Multiple numbers spread out the weight distribution. That is the key. I have an adjustable bed and I used eight stands. Very solid.
Bed Moves and Makes Noise. We purchased a new bed frame as it made noise. The new bed frame was solid and does not move and no noise. As soon as we put on the risers the bed moves and makes noise so we had to take them off.
