ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE !
this solar powered fountain is so adorable. It works fantastic. The solar panel is very touchy. It must have full sun. I added gold beads to it for added attraction. Have had many compliments!

Worked great as long as there was sun hitting the solar panel. Solar panel didn’t store any energy so it didn’t work at night or if it was cloudy. It would also quit working if you just blocked the sun from the panel. Returned item to the store.

Easy to ensemble. Decorative. Fun item for sunny days. But, on not so sunny days, it will be better to have back up battery, to save all the solar energy. Because the fountain wan't work, without direct sun. Other than that, I will recommend to anyone I know.

Never worked, some pretty glaring design flaws
I knew it would only work in full sun, waited a week for a day to try it out. In assembling, it's clear that the fountain was not designed with the included pump or vice versa - there are suction cups on the pump that are useless in this assembly - the pump sits at the top of the water line, just below the hole in the bowl for the decorative spout - the suction cups have nothing to grip on to. Is this part of the issue? Anyway, it never did work even in direct sunlight and w manual start.

Hello Kasa, we use the same pump in various fountains and in this particular fountain it is not necessary to use the suction cups or have the pump at the bottom of the bowl. As long as the pump is submerged and the tube it running up into the frog and the bottom of the frog is sealed with the foam plug then it's assembled correctly. If the pump isn't running when the panel is in direct sun please refer to the troubleshooting in the manual or you can contact our customer service team for assistance. It comes with a 1-year warranty so we can replace the pump or panel if necessary. -SLHG

Sorry to hear that. It does require direct sun on the solar panel to operate the pump so that may be the issue or misunderstanding. If you have the panel in direct sun and tried manually starting the pump as suggested in the manual then you can contact us via the phone or email listed on the instructions since it's covered by a 1-year manufacturer's warranty . -SLHG
