XD 82-Volt MAX Electric Cordless 21 in. Lawn Mower, Battery and Charger Not Included

Arrived with only one functional battery, so I waited till I could find a dealer that could get me a replacement under warranty. Now that I have used it, mulching only, haven't tried with rear bagger or side discharge, I love it. It has exceeded my expectations for a cordless mower. The eco motor is great. I only mowed the parts I couldn't get to previously with my riding mower, but the motor revved up and cut right through the piles of dead grass left by my 18 HP riding mower. Some of the grass was over a foot tall, and I have over an acre of lawn. I would imagine it would do even better if it were discharging the clippings. The battery was exhausted just about the same time I was, about 30 minutes, so I would say we are a good fit. It recharged in less than 25 minutes. Assembly is simple. So far, I would highly recommend this mower. I would further say that I have had a couple snapper riding mowers for over 40 years, and they still start right up, first pull, and function as "old dependable" whenever my newer battery start riders don't. I like to get things done quickly, so I guess you could say I'm a Happy Snappy mower.

I like it, but only tried for one lawn mow, my lot is about 1/2 acre. It took the battery down to one light when the back yard was finished, and after I changed it out. I mowed the front with the other battery and got it finished two lights left on the second battery, and it much easier to mow with than my gas mower.

Two batteries make this electric mower a best choice. When one battery runs out, just recharge it while you use the other one. Never stop mowing to wait for a battery recharge. No more gas and oil, no more carbon monoxide exhaust, no more loud engine noise--love it!

If my 13-year-old 120 pound daughter can push this lawn mower, you can, too. It's easy. I can adjust the height by the push of a lever. I can attach the bag or just let the grass feed my lawn. (We like the bag.) The mower came with two batteries that charged very quickly; and get this, one charge lasted long enough to cut both the front and back yard of our 10,000 sq. ft. property. After that, we just folded up the lawn mower and stood it on its rump. That footprint is tiny.

The word is out that small engine lawn equipment is implicated in many unfavorable issues with the environment. So, it was time for me to try a battery mower. I’ve tried cord mowers in the past, and they work, but the cord is a terrible thing to deal with. Not so on this mower. It is an 82 Volt battery pack. I think the best review I could give of this is contained in my short video referenced on this review that has a demo with wet, composted leaves. Worst case. Please check it out. If you can’t see the video, the summary would be that this mower is great for a typical city or suburban lawn. I’ll be using it from here on out. However, to be fully transparent, I am a slightly bit worried about leaf pick up this fall. Basically, the mower works just like a gas mower, but seems to have a bit less “suction” than my gas mower. That’s the primary reason I have given this 4-stars. Otherwise, there is SO MUCH TO LIKE about this mower. The battery (4Ah) was barely drained on my typical suburban lot. I think 2Ah would have been enough. (See separate reviews. Although as a sneak peek the battery and charger are just fine.) The noise level is low. Much like a vacuum cleaner. Your neighbors will love you! Other “loves” on features are: the height adjustment is 5+ stars. THIS is the kind of height adjustment you want. One simple lever for all 4 wheels. I change between Zoysia and Fescue (2 inch difference!) and this is great for that. I was so frustrated with other mowers. Height adjustment is first class, 5-star+. Wow! So easy! And storage... WOW! You can stand it up! See attached picture. This is really helpful and not something typical of gas mowers due to all the fluids. The bagger is fine, it is big enough but not too big. Also, the bag is made of a kind of material that doesn’t get leaves embedded. Don’t laugh, my old mower bagger was of a kind of material where the leaves got embedded into the actual bag material! The back HIGH WHEELS make for great maneuverability. This really helpful for making quick turns, and makes up for the lack of self-propel. Cutting is fine, but not excellent. Good enough unless you have a golf course. Slow down and it will be fine. Other features such as the kill switch handle bar and the start switch are fine. I didn’t get a chance to try the side-discharge, but I see no problems. 21 inches is a great width. Enough to cut a lot, but not so large to make it heavy. The mower doesn’t feel heavy, even with a 4ah battery. The high wheels in the back are AWESOME, making for easy turns. All is good, I’m loving this mower this summer, and enjoying not breathing horrible gas fumes. My only concern is Fall. I think I’ll be OK with this if the leaves are dry. But my reluctance has led me to take off one star. Please see the live video reviews (both less than 2 minutes). This mower and the battery and charger are listed as “Made in China.”

Was a Christmas gift and sad to say one of the batteries will not charge.. Did what manual stated and still no charging.. The other battery is charging correctly.. therefore it is differently the battery.,.,

Easy and conveient to use!

Good electric mower.

This is so quiet and easy to use. It folds up nicely out or the way when not in use. The batteries charge quickly and last. I only have to mow my back yard, but I get through the whole thing on one battery with no problem.
