Q:The beveled edge at the very top disappears when it gets to the line instead of going all the way around. Plumber said it's defective. Has anyone else seen this or had problems with it leaking?

Great!
New countertops. Kept the old sink because it was pretty new and we loved it. But, changed from top mount to undermount. And that meant redoing all the plumbing and drains. Of course, no plumber could come for at least a month. But, with a little online searching, found this installation kit. Took a bit of planning and maneuvering, but it worked perfectly. All the parts were included in the kit to solve my problems. Installed easily. Great product!

Used whatever parts of it i needed to replace a damaged section of brass pipe. It comes with enough joints and seals to do the job. The flexible mid section makes life alot easyer than trying to find the exact pipe lengths you need.

This is the bomb!
We had changed from a double to single basin sink and our contractor got creative with the plumbing change. It promptly started leaking when I knocked it by accident. Fearing a plumber, we went to Home Depot to find everything that might work to undo his creativity and fix it correctly. We found this and it worked like a charm. It was inexpensive, all the parts we needed were included, there is wonderful instructions and videos are available. Great for a novice “home plumber”.

Simple but not without issues
Super easy to install, and I love the flexibility to fit every situation. But the material is not nearly as strong as PVC, and the slip nut washers did not fit the pipes well. I had to buy different washers to get tire fitting connections and fix leaks, and only time will tell how well this material will hold up.

I'm finishing a kitchen remodel and came across this product after buying a dozen standard parts ...
I'm finishing a kitchen remodel and came across this product after buying a dozen standard parts but still not managing quite the right combination to reach the wall. The marvel adapter under my sink was about an inch too low for a normal sink tailpiece and two inches too far to the right for a standard trap. I could add more fittings with a third trip to the store, with additional potential leak points, but instead searched for a better solution and found this.
The Snappy Trap solved all the alignment issues and included good-quality rubber seals, including for the wall fitting and the sink drain connection to the included tailpiece. I especially appreciated the wingnut-style fasteners that eased the process of hand-tightening the connections. A bit of glycerine-based lubricant on each seal eases assembly without damage to the seals but isn't required. I ran hot water over the flexible PVC hose to soften it before bending. The trap ended up close to the wall in my installation, freeing valuable cabinet space and putting it out of harm's way.
I wish I had just gone with this first. I have a similar issue in the bathroom vanity and plan to just use the 1-1/4" bathroom version.

Awesome product. Bought this set and a random collection of those white pieces. Installing this was simple. Parts galore. Nothing missing, actually I have some parts to spare! The white pipes are going back. I gained a bunch of space under my sink.
My biggest problem was deciding on the best orientation to install this, as there were several options.

Snappy P-Trap Installation
I installed a commercial stainless steel utility sink in our washroom that left the P-Trap too close to the wall far away from the drain of this 24”x24” sink. I did not have the time to design a new drain configuration using ABS adaptors and materials to relocate the P-Trap underneath the new sink drain, but this one unit did the trick effortlessly. All the connections are water tight and water flow is rapid.
