It does not damage the finish of the car, and is easy to use. It gets on top of the car and around the sides very easily. By the time I drove 10 minutes, all the residual snow just melted off. It prevented the door to my gas tank from icing over.

Ingenious Snow Broom
This item is a great idea. It pushes a substantial amount of snow and with a few passes you clear the whole car. The only negative is that, like a regular floor broom, sometimes the paddle unscrews itself mid-operation and you need to screw it tightened it again. I suggest you get at the special price and not the regular price.
