    Are the bottoms of drawers wood or stiff cardboard? How much to have it assembled?

    Hello Bev, Thank you for your interest in our furniture. We are happy to answer your question. The bottom of the drawer is also made of compressed wood, it is thinner than the rest of the panels.     This chest of drawers exceeded my expectations. It took some time to put it together however the assembly instruction booklet was very helpful. It is very well made (sturdy), the drawers pull nicely, and it looks so nice in by daughters bedroom. We have had it for a few weeks now and are very happy with this purchase.

    I have to admit this was packed immaculately! There was a couple of chunks taken out of the side despite the packing, but we will just fill these in. The directions are easy enough to follow and looks great once set up. For the $$ it's a good value for mostly particle board.

    The chest was not difficult to assemble given the instructions. It's actually taller than I expected which is great. The drawers are suitable. I would recommend. My only disappointment was that it came banged up with chips, wood broken. Customer service dismissed my concerns & offered a $40 credit as if that makes up for the amount of money I spent.

    This dresser receives a 5-star rating for multiple reasons: It was very easy to assemble. The instructions were clear, all required pieces were provided, nothing was damaged. It looks great in my room and matches the other furniture. It's sturdy and has good storage. And, it was a great value!
