I used these speakers to float the left, right and center speakers around a wall mounted large screen TV. It worked out exactly as I hoped. The brackets and the shelves are both good quality and are sturdy. I did plan this install and was able to anchor into wood, not relying on drywall anchors. Basically I had wood exactly where I needed it and put lag bolts through the brackets. The speakers are very heavy and the shelves handle it well. I do not believe drywall anchors would have held for this application, but they would hold the shelves with a lighter load. Overall, I like these. It was the clean look I was looking for.

The shelf itself is exactly what I was looking for. However, the low rating is for the hardware that comes with it. Using the supplied hardware the shelf could barely support itself and the plastic drywall anchors were pulling out of the wall. It also was shaky. I ended up using some more heavy duty anchors that we have around and it's much more secure and stable.

The shelves met my expectations even though I had challenges using the enclosed drywall anchors to secure the shelf. After using my own hardware, I found the shelf sturdy enough to hold 20-30 pounds. They were packed well and shipped quickly, I would recommend them to anyone who looked at a similar shelf at IKEA which is currently on back order.
