Does it have red berries in the fall or any time?

AnswerThe LeAnn Cleyera will produce berries in late-summer to Fall that are maroon-dark purple in color. Berries are small and inconspicuous, they will hardy be noticeable on the shrub.
Can you buy these already grown to 6 to 8 feet tall?

AnswerYou might be able to by them that tall at your local store, you can call your local Home Depot. The 3 Gal is the largest offered online, they are approx 18-24 inches tall(11/20/2018)

AnswerIf you have been watering your plants regularly, you might want to see if the soil around your plants is staying soggy. These plants will experience root rot if planted in soil that has poor drainage. If this is the case adjust your watering to let the plants soil dry out between waterings, or if the problem is very bad consider re-planting using some well draining soil to back fill the hole, and allow ~1/2 inch of the root ball to be above the soil level.

Healthy looking plants upon arrival. They are to extend our border screening along a busy street, as we planted a row about 2 years ago, and wished to continue the length of the border for privacy and sound abatement. These were recommended to me by a friend since they are drought tolerant, deer and pest resistant and a healthier alternative to "red tips" ( photinias).

None of our local nurseries had the Cleyera that we wanted. It was very convenient to order them. We ordered 8 and all arrived in great shape and continue to thrive after planting about 3 weeks ago.
