A: The inside diameter of the planter is 7-inches. Nursery pots vary in size depending on how they are measured. We have a plant in a nursery pot that has a 1/2-inch lip around the top. The overall diameter including the lip is 8-inches and it fits perfect.

A: The planter is 8.8 in. x 9.75 in Tall. The stand is reversible. When set in the tall mode, the overall height is 18.5 inches.

A: Size is stated on listing, but you can use the stand two ways, Shorter like pictured, or turned upside down, its taller like I have mine and is 19 inches overall. Other way only lifts the planter about 2 inches.

Do not place soil directly inside

The pot is nice to look at. The pot may not be made to hold soil. I drilled a drainage hole at the bottom and place soil and a plant directly inside the pot. Within a week the pot began to crack. I’m assuming that the wet soil began to affect the integrity of the pot.

I like this planter a lot. It's very simple yet strong and quite sturdy and does not skimp on quality. The vessel itself is free of defects and has a nice smooth surface. The base is a nice hardwood. The stone tone allows it to pair well with virtually any decor. A couple of notes for consideration. First, there are no holes on the bottom, which may determine what type of plants it should hold or where. I suppose a mason bit will make holes if you wished to put some in but proceed with caution there. Second, the wood is bare - I actually want the stand to be darker and so I will be staining it a chestnut color. I recommend staining for longevity or at least sealing it with a deck sealer, etc.

The Southern Patio Cylinder 8.8 in. x 9.75 in. Tall Gray Concrete Planter with Stand is a very sleek contemporary / modern looking planter. Very smooth finish to a concrete feel planter. The Stand is unfinished wood and I can see that we will need to get a much more substantial one for the heat of Arizona as wood dries out so fast. You will need to drill some drainage holes or put in drainage material as the planter has no drain. I think the outside of the planter will be perfect for painting some colorful artwork on…..can’t wait to try it out.

This cement cylinder can be used indoor or outdoor. It is light weight. I feel it is nicely constructed and has a homemade look to it. On mine, it has some of the mesh peeking through on the inside. The outside surface is smooth. The wooden frame is made of two pieces with a hex screw head. This one was a little off balance; I tightened the screw and sanded down a tiny bit of the wood on one side. It came assembled in the box. You can put in decorations or plants (it does not have a drain hole in the bottom).

I do like this planter and stand. The style is simple and clean, yet functional. The concrete planter is light colored, almost a milky white color. The stand legs are 2-U shaped pieces held together with a screw at the bottom. The legs can rotate to fold up or extend to make an X. The concrete planter does not have a hole in the bottom to keep it from holding too much water. I may drill a hole in it at some point but for now, I left it as is with some flowers. Over the summer, they should do fine without a hole but if I ever leave this outside in the winter, it will quickly become water-logged. Maybe I should move it inside over the winter with indoor plants. The concrete planter is somewhat heavy (at least it feels heavier than it looks). However, the wooden supports easily hold the planter. Overall, it is a good looking planter that adds a bit of style to my plant game.

This tall gray concrete planter with stand looks great in person, it came properly packed with styrofoam, and the edges have no scratches or any sign of damage. The concrete is beautiful and the planter has an industrial look to it. The stand is ok, but I think I will add a layer of wood sealer to add an extra protection to the wood. Be aware that this planter has no holes so if your plant requires a decent amount of water it may not be the best option. Overall I am very pleased with the product, its aesthetics and quality.

The Southern Patio Cylinder 8.8 in. x 9.75 “ in Gray Concrete Planter with Stand is really awesome!! It brings a modern feel to your home and decor. I put a lime tree start in it and I just love it. I do not know how it will do but it looks beautiful. It says it is water-resistant and durable so time will tell. The stand was a little wobbly but I put a felt pad under one side and it is fine. It was packaged well too!

Tall Gray Concrete Planter with Stand This planter has the sleek “mid century modern look” that measures approximately 9 x 9 x 10 & the wood stand measures approximately 11 x 10. It is a very solid fiberglass/concrete mixture in the shape of a round cylinder and weighs just over 7 pounds. It can be used for indoor & outdoor planting but you need to add a drainage hole & or some rocks in the bottom so water can drain a bit from your soil. I may end up painting a design on it to give it a bit of color. Anyway, it’s a fun piece!
