A: Not sure, but I would try it. Plants should not absorb anything from the plastic.

A: Possibly but it would need to be waterproof paint, maybe a rustoleum spray paint would be best.

A: I'm not sure about painting the flower pot but I guess you could with some type of paint that would stick.

A: Sure you can paint it. If you want to use a latex house paint, prime first with one of the well known stain blocking primers. If you want to spray it, there are spray paints made for painting plastic. Wipe it down with paint thinner, let it dry and paint away.

A: Hi. We recommend that you only use the metal hanger with the hanging basket it comes with. We can't guarantee that it will fit or securely hold another pot.

A: The chains/hooks come in a bag taped to the inside of the pot.... I put the nursery pot in this hanging pot since it doesn't have drainage. It looks great.

I needed this size pot, and lightweight, to sit in the steel mesh opening of a flower chair I painted. It was easy enough to remove the chains and punch some holes in the bottom for drainage. Why don't planters come with drainage holes anymore?

perfect planter

simple yet affordable. drill hole located on the bottom. will definately purchase more at that price! there is no drip saucer but thats ok. when watering i leave in the utility sink for a few hours then re-hang inside.
