A:  I bought this planter to use as an insert for my ceramic planter too! It's 12.5 inches in diameter and about 7 inches in height

A:  Top is 13” diameter Bottom is 8 1/4” Height is about 8 1/2”

A:  This would probably be to big. You may want to get a nursery planter for what you want to do. This is a very nice and sturdy hanging planter that has a lip on the bottom for self-watering.

A:  The self-watering planter is 8.07" tall. The width of the bottom is 8".

A:  Around 15-20lb depends on how heavy the plant is.

A:  No idea I put mine on a Shepard crook outside so weight was not a problem

A:  Luis, First the Hook you see on the basket is very sturdy and surely will hold the weight of the dirt, water and plants. If you are asking about the Hook you plan to hang it on, for outside I used just a nail bent up. For Other pots I used the type of decorator hook that is used with hanging lamps; it has a decorative metal hook that is very strong with threads on the shaft to screw upwards into the location .............. and lastly I used eye screw which are threaded with a circle at the top of the shaft. You would want to run at least 1.5 inches of the threaded shaft into the wood for example.............of the patio framing. These can be put in from the bottom or sides of any framing or wall. Just remember you need hanging space for the basket. I sure hope this helps. We have several and they look awesome.

A:  Although I did not measure, I also planted Boston Ferns and had no problems at all with depth. My plant sizes were moved from the 2qt nursery pots into these. I hope that helps.

A:  Thank you for inquiring about our self-watering hanging baskets. You might want to try filling the water reservoir more often. If the first inch of soil is dry, this means your plant needs water.

A:  We can be sure depending on where you live but most likely is is not enough watering.

A:  Too much water for that variety plant. Pot retains and when it seems dry, may not be.
