This beautiful planting container was surprisingly much larger than I had initially expected it to be when I ordered it! For some reason, I didn't think the posted measurements translated to the container that arrived. They did however. I was just surprised, (happily, I might add).
The planter is exceedingly well made. It's got a good amount of weight for a "resin composite" planter. Sometimes you can find even extra large resin planters, and they don't weigh anything. This is nice when it comes to the initial placement of your planter, but once it's in place and filled, if the container itself isn't thick enough to handle hours of sitting in the hot sun, along with getting wet and then drying out over and over again (which are normal planting conditions), the resin can start to fail in some thinner spots.
WIth this planter, it seems to have a consistent thickness throughout the entire unit. The inside is smooth and finished nicely.
The outside has a wonderfully consistent color present over the entire urn. It looks like a very high end planter found in specialty garden stores. I for one will be exceptionally happy having it on my back patio for what will hopefully be, many years!

I was looking for a design element for my front porch. I saw this urn design planter made of a very sturdy resin composite material. It is hefty weighing in at approximately 12 pounds. It has design adornments that enhance the decorator aspect as well. There is a removable plug made out of rubber ( another high quality feature. The finish is a high gloss and deep blue in color. Haven’t had time to buy a plant for it yet, so using it inside for now. Love it!

I think this planter looks great and as very deep vibrant blue color to it. The planter is much lighter than a terra-cotta or clay planter which makes it much easier to move around. My issue though with the planter though is it wasn’t cast straight and has a noticeable slant to it. I still look forward to spring and being able to plant some flowers in it. From a distance, no one will be able to tell.

The Porter Resin Composite Urn is very attractive and the glossy finish makes look even better. I like that it is made with resin composite which makes light enough to move around without straining. This material keep its looks for a long time, since it will not rust. The size is perfect for indoor use as well as outside. The depth gives enough space for the roots of large plants. You can plant in the pot or you can use an insert if you like changing out the plants every so often. (As I did).

Beautiful looking Urn! Glossy black color is eye catching! The delivery man even commented that it was not heavy considering the size of the box. There is a drain hole at the bottom that can be replaced and used if you just want to use for artificial flowers . It looks so classy on the outside of the front door. Even though it is tall, its not bulky. Even though we had some wind it never fell over.

Gorgeous urn style planter for large or small pots! Indoor or out.
This is a very very nice looking planter. I can't wait to fill it with plants on the deck this summer.
The exterior is a gloss tan color, with black scroll and dial work. Very nicely done.
Dimensions are 18 inches tall on the outside, can fit a 12 inch diameter pot inside (inside is tapered 12 at top to 7 at bottom) and is 14 inches deep inside.
There is a drain plug that you can remove, allowing excess water to drain away.
The planter is light enough to move around but heavy enough to place a pot inside with a tall palm and will not tip. If the plant isn't heavy enough, just fill the bottom of the planter with sand or stones and it will hold steady.
This is going to be perfect for a big boston fern on the deck!
This color and style will fit any decor style inside, modern or vintage.
I highly recommend this planter.

I have bought many planters, pots, urns, etc for my home and yard over the years. Ceramic is very heavy and can break. Plastic has a short life span outside. This product seems to be the perfect solution. This urn is much heavier and sturdier compared to fiberglass or plastic, but not as heavy as ceramic or clay. It has a removable plug in the bottom to accomodate drainage if so desired. It is 18 inches tall and can accomodate larger plantings. Great for inside or outside uses!
