I have used these planters as a drop-in for potted flowers and for potting plants directly into the pots. Be careful when drilling holes for drainage as it tends to crack under too much pressure. I suggest placing the pot on wood block and drill hole from inside. I love the bright colors and hope Home Depot brings these back next season or keeps them in stock year around.

Literally 13 emails asking me to review this item... Pot is sturdy. I had to drill drainage holes for outdoor use. Good value, pretty color, hasn't faded in 6 months.
