I purchased these 3 pots in July 2019 and planted the roses in late September. This is what the planters look like today. For the price I paid,I expected much better quality. I now have to purchase new pots and replant the roses. Poorly made plastic pots that can not withstand sun and rain. Would not recommend.

Only four months outdoors and the paint is chipping. Expected more for an outdoor pot.

Painted surface is cracking and chipping.
This pot is beautiful, but the faux galvanized surface is really just painted plastic, which would be ok if the paint hadn’t started cracking and chipping within a couple of weeks of purchase. Not a great value for the price.

My wife and I have a semi covered patio full of beautiful plants and we are always looking for beautiful planters to further accent the area. This Westlake Galvanized Rustic Round Planter from Southern Patio fits the bill perfectly. It is the perfect size for planting just about anything in it. This pot is super lightweight even though it looks like it is made out of galvanized metal.
Due to the Corona Virus we have not ventured out to get something to fill the planter with yet. My wife likes to do succulents a lot because they are easier to keep alive and she wasn't born with a green thumb. She also does pretty good with just a planter full of random flowers she finds on sale.
There are no drainage holes in this planter so if you need them you will have to drill a few 1/2" holes in the bottom. The nice thing with this planter being made out of a plastic resin is it's super easy to drill holes in it though.
This planter has the perfect weathered and rustic look to it with the galvanized finish on the body of it and the textured finish all around the top edge. It looks like it has been perfectly weathered and is just waiting for something beautiful to be grown in it.

This planter is all plastic. From the description I thought it actually had galvanized metal but was pleasantly surprised to discover that there is no metal which means no dents, no rust, and lighter weight. The planter is also a lot bigger than I thought it would be from the picture on the website. Again, that's a plus in my book but take a look at the photo I included to get a better idea of its size in case you want something smaller.

We chose this Southern Patio Westlake rustic planter because of the quality and style. It has the appearance of rustic metal. It is weather resistant and will not rust. The size is very large (20.5" diameter) and will hold a small tree or many flowers, and we haven't made up our mind what we are going to plant yet. It is a beautiful planter and we can't wait to use it.

I was delightfully surprised when this galvanized 20.5 gal planter arrived! Southern Patio made this a nice looking planter. You do have to put drainage holes in the bottom of it to plant a living plant in it. I'm gonna use this planter to put a pomangrante fruit tree in it. It is lightweight to carry ,which is awesome,considering that when you put dirt in it it becomes heavier.
