My older unit started on the first pull of the cord for over four years, with the exception of having to replace the primer pump ($8 part) this year. I decided to purchase a second blower as I have a large lot with numerous large trees and having both allows my wife to knock it out quickly in the Fall leaf season. I was tempted to try another unit before I reminded myself that this unit has been great. It works, why try something different that may not.

Every year I have worked hours cleaning out the ditches so the road doesn't wash out in the spring. with this blower I walk out one side of the road and back the other side and I am done. Yes , Because of the constant falling of leaves I have completed the task a couple of times, I was very surprised to see how far the blower pushed the leaves into the woods. it has made a difficult task relatively easy.

They didn't try to "reinvent" the wheel, just made a simple design that worked. Plenty of power even with wet leaves in 4" to 5" grass. My back yard used to take an hour with two hand held blowers. Only took twenty minutes with this blower. Only down side was the front facing shoot was a little hard to find and take off but once you got it, it all works well.
