This 50 ft extension cord works as expected. Cord is fifty feet in length and can easily be manipulated into twists and turns. The plug is grounded at the end so make sure your what your hooking it into is compatible. The casing of the wire is holding up well after a month being used in the Ohio summer elements and occasionally getting ran over. This extension cord should meet all your needs.

I have been needing an extension cord that works inside outside and around chemicals and even fuels. This was the perfect fit. It is as tough as it appears yet is flexible enough to easily wrap around corners and bring power to wherever you need in in the 100 foot range. I plan to use this particular one at work as I am around chemicals fuel and any of other environmental issues inside and outside of the properties I manage. I had a pretty good load on it this morning and it worked perfectly This cord exceeds my needs and expectations!

This is an excellent and well made extension cord. I have used it for many intense uses and even to power a portable air conditioner. It works perfectly and never gets warm. I have had no issues with anything pulling out of the extension cord even when it is moved around a lot. Even though things stay put, it is still easy to plug things in. Even though this is listed as medium duty, I have used it for some heavy duty jobs and it works just fine.

When I saw this extension cord it made me want to run away and join the circus. I could use this to power my concession stand with a soft-serve machine,a popcorn maker, cotton candy and a hot dog cooker. And when they told me my electric outlet was 80 feet away from my trailer, I'd say,"No problemo". To say this extension cord is heavy-duty is an understatement. One glance and you know this will kick out the amps. It has a heavy black rubber coat and beefy plugs at each end that are all business. If you're in business, this is the kind of extension cord that pays for itself. Undersize extension cords will shorten the life of your power tools. With 30 amps you could run two 15 amp power tools with this. It would be great for RVs and travel trailers when staying at friends or relatives properties. With 100 feet available you won't have to stretch or make shortcuts to plug in. And with it's amperage you can run the AC and the microwave at the same time, no worries.I ran this cord up a hill behind my toolshop to power a reciprocating saw with a pruning blade on it to cut up some small oak trees into manageable lengths to transport down to the shed. When I was done I wound it onto an old freestanding hose reel I kept in my hoard of stuff that I might use someday. I anticipated that some day I would store something like this or rope on it and it worked perfectly. It may be a little hard to carry this as you coil it up for storage because it is heavy. Southwire 100 ft. 10/3 AgriPro Farm Workshop Heavy-Duty Extension Cord, get yourself some serious power.

SOUTHWIRE 25 FT. 10/3 SJTOW AGRIPRO FARM/WORKSHOP HEAVY-DUTY EXTENSION CORD, BLACK This cord is a monster compared to what I have now. It is only rated for 15-amp, there is no sidewise prong for a 20-Amp receptacle, but that's okay. This was ordered specifically to run a pressure washer that has a built-in ground fault device that often trips when plugged into a 50 foot 12/3 cord. The instructions for the pressure washer specifically say not to use an extension cord, but the reality is it is often necessary, or you have to buy a lot of hose extension. This cord is heavier 10 Gauge wire and only 25 foot long, so the hope was voltage drop would not be so much an issue. So far, it does seem to be working. Now, I just got to move the car, and go wash the truck.

Not a bad extension cord but there are better choices. This Southwire 12/3-25 foot extension cord is decent quality. The jacket is tough and cord ends are beefy. I tested it again the similarly priced yellow jacket extension cord (HD 303020525 -$30) and I found the yellow jacket is a better cord. The yellow jacket has an LED in the receptacle that tells you its powered. This Southwire cord does not. That’s a very handy feature. Also I found this Southwire cord doesn’t lie as flat on the floor and kept memory from the packaging. Even after leaving out in the sun for several hours. If this Southwire cord was priced a bit cheaper it would be a better value. At the $30 price (as of June 2020) it gets a C grade.

Overall very happy with the extension cord. It is true to size and as shown its the 14/3 gauge wire. It is your standard 3 prong plug. One of the things that sticks out is the plug ends are softer than extension cords I've had in the past. This cord does see to have a memory when folding but has held up well with being driven over by vehicle, lawn mowers etc.

A heavy-duty copper wire with oil resistant vinyl jackets for chemicals and moisture resistant , suitable for the outdoor use. Flexible minus 58°F, durable reinforced blades help prevent bending or breaking. 25 ft. all-copper wire extension cord in my use is for higher amp shop equipment to reduce amp and voltage drop, and at 10 ga. there's little if not none here. Here we power a 2 HP dust collector and see many use's within the shop to extent the outlet's power that few extra feet without the risk of overloading less gage cords.

At 8.5 pounds, this is a rather hefty cord, make no mistake about it. When I lay it next to my light duty 100’ cord with its smaller plug and outlet and only 6 pound weight, it’s really apparent that this cord can handle much heavier duty. The molded plug and outlet are each one piece with the cord, plus it is reinforced where they meet, so it is highly unlikely that the wire cover will ever separate from the joint and expose the wires as is often the case in lighter duty cords. I primarily use this cord with my electric lawn edger which is rated at 12A, well within the 15A maximum that this cord can deliver, per the UL tag on the cord (the package reads 13A). The UL tag also reads 1875W maximum versus 1625W on the package and says the cord is rated for Outdoor use. Your guess is as good as mine as to which ratings to follow. Regardless, this extension cord is fully capable of handling any type of use that I’ll ever need around my home and should last for a long time.

Wow, what an impressive extension cord! Not only is it Made in America, but it is a high-quality, heavy-duty extension cord. The 10/3 cord is about 1/2" thick with molded plugs and reinforced blades . It is strong, water resistant, and protected from chemicals or adverse weather conditions by the oil-resistant vinyl jacket. It has a weight of 20 lbs. and is flexible. The 100-foot length is perfect for inside the garage or when using power equipment outside, but other lengths are available. This product has a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

tough, well made, UL listed, grounded, extension cord. Rubbery material is chemical and oil resistant. Checks all the right boxes! Very well made extension cord with both ends molded onto a rubbery jacket for good strain relief. It's a 12 gauge cord, so can be used with loads up to 15 amps at 125 volts (1875 watts). It comes with a UL listed label attached which means its been made to the UL safety standards and certified to meet those standards. I look for this label to know that something is safe/safer to use.

Southwire Agri Rated 10/3 50 Ft. with outdoor Sun Rated Extension Cord. This cord is in fact a real heavy-duty extension cord. The 10/3 cable is wrapped in a casing that is outdoor rated and should not deteriorate in direct sun light, assuming it is not left in the sun for extended periods of time would be my read on the sun rating. You are able to expect a full 15 amps of service at the end of the 50-foot plug. Both the plug and the Socket are made heavy duty and well secured to the cable. Which is a well-made cord for Agriculture, Farm, or Construction uses.

So far so good with our Southwire 25 ft. 14/3 SJTOW AgriPro Farm/Workshop Medium-Duty Extension Cord. We have used it for several different things around the yard and it has worked great. We really like the size and shape of the cord's outlet. It is a little sleeker than most. (See photos) Plugs fit right into the outlet effortlessly. No hard pushing or tugging to connect or remove. The cord is soft and has been easy to roll back up. Definitely recommend the Southwire 25 ft. 14/3 SJTOW AgriPro Farm/Workshop Medium-Duty Extension Cord.

This is a great extension cord for a garage or workshop. With lots of corded power tools and saws, we're always in need of a medium duty extension cord for our garage. The 25 feet of this extension cord, is enough to get the job done. The cord feels solid and sturdy. The three prong receptacle and plug give you confidence and security. A great addition to your tool box, garage, or workshop.

The description says it all HEAVY-DUTY. This extension cord is not what you need to power your leaf blower or your old corded drill to reattached a fence picket. This is a big extension cord that is capable of big jobs. This cord is a new mainstay in my shop where I power my table saw, compressor, jointer, or my power washer when I am washing my truck. This is your extension cord for when you can't afford loss of current due to a thin undersized cord. The cord's rubber coating is thick and heavy, the terminals are very thick and rugged. I see this cord provided years and years of service.

The 25 ft. 14/3 SJTOW AgriPro Farm/Workshop Medium-Duty Extension Cord came in at just the right time. Due to storms, my power went out, and had to fire up my generator. The cord handled the job of keeping the refrigerator running without any problems. Both ends of the cord have extra long plug in's that make it easy to pull out without pulling on the cord itself. 14/3 copper wire, and heave duty oil resistant insulation makes this a joy to have for almost any occasion.

Wow! I am very impressed with the quality of this Southwire heavy duty extension cord. The description is accurate when they describe it as heavy duty because it definitely is. A good heavy duty extension cord like this should be considered just as much of an investment as ...
A good heavy duty extension cord like this should be considered just as much of an investment as your best power tools. First a little background about “voltage drop.” This is what happens when you are running long distances with lightweight extension cords. Your 15 amp circular saw or compressor at the end of a 100 ft of 16 gauge extension cord has lost 10 percent, and you are trying to work that equipment on less than 108 volts. You can quickly do some serious damage to your tools operating them like that, likely burning out motors, which costs time and money. This only gets worse in the summer, because when temperatures go up, so does electrical resistance. That same equipment with this 10 gauge cord has lost only 3 volts, and is well within the normal operating voltage. This is also super heavy duty. Cords face a lot of abuse on the jobsite between people walking on them, materials being dropped on them, and even being driven over. This cord will take a lifetime of abuse and keep working. Its will stand up to heat, chemicals and oils, and being dragged from one end of the jobsite to the other. Another good reason for a cord like this is when you are working off of a generator. Often there is only one generator on the site, and it could be a long ways from where you are working. That electricity is in short supply anyway, so you don’t want to waste any of it through voltage drop in the cord. Obviously you can’t take the generator inside the building, so you need a cord capable of delivering all of the power where you need it. I expect this cord to last the rest of my life, and I think that it might last well into the grandkid’s as well. Like all good tools, they can make a world of difference and save you a world of headache, but usually worth the money in the long run.

I am very happy with this Southwire 100 foot 10/3 SJTOW Agripro heavy-duty extension cord. This extension cord appears to be exceptionally well made. With its 10-gauge three wire construction I probably will never worry again whether or not an extension cord can provide sufficient power to my heavy duty tools in order to prevent damage. The extension cord's 100-foot length allows me to roll my table saw out onto the driveway and use our electric log splitter further out in the yard and closer to where the fire wood is stacked. I am pleasantly surprised at how flexible the extension cord is given its 10-gauge wire. In my opinion this cord is so well made it should provide a life time of service. See attached photographs. Well done Southwire!

This pro-grade 50ft extension cord is well-made and well-suited for outdoor use even if you don't live on a farm...... and this particular cord has specs that fit several of my needs because many of my outdoor projects don't require a heavy duty cord. This medium duty 14 gauge/15 amp capacity rating is perfect for use with general homeowner power tools at a max of 50 ft distance from the outlet..... This cord can be outside in extreme cold temps and its double-reinforcement prevents breaking (of course, use and time will tell, but it is very substantial). .. I'm looking forward to using this and giving it a real workout this summer.

The Southwire extension cord is what I use to get the electric power out to the metal storage building adjacent to the house used as a work shop. The 25 ft. extension cord--with 3-#12 AWG stranded conductors--allows better power transmission than most of the 25 ft. cords that I own. The thick outer covering of this cord protects it from damage when used outdoors or in harsh environments. The Agripro 25 ft. cord will be my choice when I need up to 15 Amps of current from a single source.

Southwire's 14/3 "Agripro" extension cord is called "medium duty," but is really well-constructed and might better be called heavy duty. 14 gauge wire will let you run tools and equipment up to 15 AMPs safely - although if you were going to run something that really draws a running 15A, you might want to think about moving up to a 12 gauge wire (and a dedicated circuit). It has standard straight 15A male and female plug ends, and oversized plug bodies.

The Southwire 100 ft. 14/3 SJTOW Agripro extension cord is a great medium duty cord. It is very flexible and wraps easily for storage. It is rated for 1625 watts or about 13 amps. Both the male and female ends of the cord are 1 piece molded plastic and very rugged. Additionally, the cord sheathing is chemical and oil resistant for a lifetime of service. Overall a great extension cord that can stand the test of time.

The Southwire 50ft. 10/3 SJTOW Agripro extension cord is beyond heavy-duty, it's extreme duty! I needed an extension cord to serve as a main trunk line from our 8000 watt generator and this fit the bill perfectly. The cord is rated for 1875 watts or about 15 amps which is the maximum allowable with a standard plug receptacle. Being 10 gauge this cord is fairly heavy and rather bulky. It does however bend and flex very easily which is nice when it comes time for storage. Overall, this is a great extension cord that can easily handle heavy amperage loads.

This is the Southwire AgriPro Farm/Workshop Extension Cord (see Photo 1). Note that, though it’s billed as “Medium-Duty” in the product title on Home Depot's Website, the package and description clearly stats it’s “Heavy-duty.” Interestingly, on the package it says, “Ideal for rugged use on farms and ranches.” I didn't realize farms and ranches were especially tough on extension cords. I like this cord a lot because of its flexibility. Though fairly heavy, it still has a “soft” feel. Maybe it’s better to just say it’s not a stiff cord. It’s easy to handle and has a good feel. I also like the large, quality heads. Photo 2 shows the male end, and Photo 3 shows the female end. Photo 4 shows the two from the side to give you an idea of their size. They’re very easy to grab and either plug in or un -plug. I use this cord in my shop where I often need to move my power equipment around, and unfortunately, I don’t have receptacles everywhere I need them. With this 12 gauge cord, I don’t worry about the voltage drop across the cord. I can’t tell for sure, but it seems like it’s going to stay flexible even in the cold (right now it’s in the 90s here), so that would be a big plus. Overall, the cord feels well built and durable, and it’s made in the USA.

This 25 ft. Southwire Agripro electric extension cord is great for all my outdoor electric power needs. It is a heavy duty cord; 12/3 wire rated 15A. Although it is meant for use on farms and ranches, I use it outdoors at my home. It is also good for workshop or in garage use. The plug and socket ends are large and easy to grip. I like that the cord is weather, chemical and oil resistant and it is made in America. This is a great cord for use with any electric power tool.

This is a good quality cord. With a shop, small farm and a garden, extension cords are a must. I have used this cord for multiple jobs especially those requiring it to carry more amps. This 12/3 wire construction handles any equipment I need to power. It is softer/ more flexible than most meaning roll up is easier and storage is faster. The ends are adequate quality and I like the black oil resistant jacket. I have dragged it all over the shop and yard. Nice addition

This fifty foot extension cord is long enough for many of my outdoor cord needs without being so long that it easily becomes a tangle. The strain relief at each end of the cord looks sturdy enough that that the cord is unlikely to fail at these points. The molded construction ensures that that no water can seep in at the ends of the cord. After being dragged over rough ground a few times, there is no sign of wear, so I anticipate that this cord will last a long time with reasonable care.
