Questions & Answers

Can this product be fished through the 1/2 x 100 ft. Non-Metallic Liquidtight Conduit?

What conduit products are compatible with this product?
Asked by: Dickysboy
Please consult with a local electrician when starting a project in your area! The above advice is based upon the current edition of the National Electric Code (NEC). Free access to the latest version of the NEC is available online at www.nfpa.org/freeaccess. The NEC and local building codes regulate the types of wire and cable that can be used in specific electrical applications, as well as the manner of installation. Check your local building codes before you start any wiring and cable electrical project and be sure to obtain required permits. When your work is complete, always have it inspected for compliance with local codes to ensure that it has been safely installed.

Why does this wire cost less than the other wires? Most of then cost $100 and up.

Asked by: Bulqui
Hi Bulqui, Thank you for the inquiry about the 12/2 x 250 ft. Solid Blue CU MC (Metal Clad) Armorlite Cable. The prices of items are subject to many factors including a national average set by our corporate office along with collaboration from our manufacturers and vendors. Other considerations are where the merchandise is being sold, the type of materials and labor used to create the product. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot.

Is this suitable to use in garage as main wiring

Asked by: Kyle
Yep, that’s why I bought it. My garage is all brick so it was going to be a pain to run wire behind the wall. Plus, I’m a Florida Gator fan so having blue just made it all better.
