THHN is rated for 600 Volts
You could, but I'd use solid 14 gauge wire, but you could get by with the stranded 14. There seems to be less movement of the solid wire than the stranded wire from the vibration of the vehicle, hence the less flexing so less weakening of the wire.
THHN/THWN conductors are rated for a maximum temperature of 90C and are likely of a higher quality than the original wiring and should be safe to use if the original wiring is rated 90C or less. As replacement of the original wiring (or installation of the tombstone sockets) will likely void the UL listing of the product, this should be done very carefully and with the knowledge that any malfunctions will not be covered by the product manufacturers.
.102" The above advice is based upon the current edition of the National Electric Code (NEC). Free access to the latest version of the NEC is available online at www.nfpa.org/freeaccess. The NEC and local building codes regulate the types of wire and cable that can be used in specific electrical applications, as well as the manner of installation. Check your local building codes before you start any wiring and cable electrical project and be sure to obtain required permits. When your work is complete, always have it inspected for compliance with local codes to ensure that it has been safely installed.
I am not sure what picture you are referring to. THHN and THWN is a multi-purpose building wire used in conduit and cable trays for service, feeders and branch circuits in commercial and industrial applications. It can be used in wet or dry locations. The above advice is based upon the current edition of the National Electric Code (NEC). There’s no indication on the wiring itself other than ‘Cu’, the ends of the wire (after being cut) appear to be pure copper.
It didn't work for me!
This product is made with copper.
This wire is about 12 to 15 pounds per roll
