Introducing the latest innovation in electrical fittings, the Double Snap Lock BX connector. It provides significant labor savings when installing metal clad or armored cable to steel boxes or enclosures. No tools are required when assembling to the cable or the box. The anti-short bushing is pre-assembled and will not fall out during transit or installation. Simply snap the cable to the fitting and snap the fitting into the box. The Double Snap Lock can be easily removed without tools and is reusable. Patent pending.

Armor cable is always a bit of a pain to work with when it comes to the clamps used to attach it to work boxes. These new style clamps make it easy and fast!
Simply remove the knockout, snap in the connector and insert the armor cable. Everything snapsnintonplace and locks. Even the red grommet for the cable end is included.
This style connector snaps in from the outside of the box. There is another style that goes in from the inside. I prefer the inside ones when space permits the installation, as this clamp has one spring clip that didnt snap into place on its own. I had to give it a nudge and then it snapped into place. Once in place though, it appeared secure.
I added a picture of the other style clamp for comparison.
I'd like to say more, but I ordered a bag of 50 and only received 1 individual clip. I do look forward to using these when I get more.

These clips are so easy to use and there is no screwing or tightening, just snap in place and push the wire through. I think they save so much time especially if your doing a lot of them. They are insulated and hold the wire into place by just snapping them into place and sliding the wire through the connector. You can even use these when installing dishwashers or oven hoods. The insulated ends on the connector is really a great idea to prevent the line from getting damaged and shorting out. I think if you give them a try you will like them.

This is a really simple connection for MC/AC/BX cables. All assemblies are snap-in-place and do not require tightening of fasteners. the cable locks tightly into the connector. The connector snaps tightly into the box. There are releases to remove the connector from the box; however, there is not a release for the cable once it is installed. This might be an issue if you need to remove the cable for any reason. Overall, this gets five-stars.

The SOUTHWIRE DOUBLE SNAP 3/8 IN. MC/AC/BX BOX CONNECTOR is absolutely and great time saver to the traditional method of wire connectors at the junction box, outlet, or electrical panel extensions. The connector provides a clean, efficient, and manageable method to control the wires and cables before connection. It is easy to install, just make sure you knockout the proper sized metal box circle and snap it in. Being able to use this product that does not require a specific tool, it makes the investment cost more reasonable. I like this unit. No installation instruction for the unit, make sure of metal box hole matched up with the size for the Cut-In.
