A: JB, Thank-You for your interest; we'd greatly appreciate the use of our product once you begin your project. Your first step should be identifying your downspout location and that you have enough of them to move the water. A general rule of thumb is placement every 10-20 linear feet of gutter, but more may be necessary depending on the local weather, size of the drainage area and the design of the gutter system. After you've identified the location and measured on your gutter so that it lines up vertically, you want to take your half round outlet and trace it into the trough of your gutter, then with a pair of snips cut your opening. (Remember measure twice and cut once) Once you get it ready to insert the outlet, be sure to seal it and let your sealant cure. Then you will attach your downspout to the outlet; make sure the seam side of your downspout is turned so that it's not front facing and attach it to the outlet with at least two fasteners. You will then want to secure the downspout to your home with a downspout clip or band. Then, depending on which downspout you're using (round or rectangular); you will need to identify the type elbow and direction you need to divert the water away from your home. Having said all this, to answer your question; I'd like to pose an observation. With many varying factors (rainfall in the area you live, pitch of roof, etc.), I would make certain that the half round gutters are going to support the flow as a metal roof will not slow down the water at all like your standard asphalt shingle.
A: This will fit tightly on a 6 inch half round gutter.
A: Thank you for your question, the 6 in. half round gutter end cap will be a tight fit onto the half round gutter. but the end cap should match up directly to the end of the gutter.
