Does it harm new rose buds
Asked by Dan November 5, 2020YES! Do NOT spray on ornamental! Even grass is questionable, though I have used it on small areas (turned brown immediately!); but grass grows back. I use on OUTSIDE, hard surfaces only. Strong smell dissipates in a few hours.
can I use this for cochineal scale on my cactus
Asked by Mario September 21, 2020I do not know about this scale on Cactus however I have a lot of cactus on my property. I never had to use anything on my cactus. I have used this product for over 30 years and it is the best spray out there. I use it on my lime trees, other fruit trees and even on my 40 rose plants - It works great. Use it when there is no wind and take a shower after plus wash your clothes. It smells bad but works great. For the cost of the spray, which is very small, give it a try on your cactus. I never found this to kill anything or even damage anything - like after my first try on my roses - NO Problem - ha ha
Could I mix this product with an adjuvant (oil) to be more effective? I have a severe infestation...

Asked by subverb August 27, 2020My thirty year experience with this product is that it kills anything I do not like on my plants and trees and I have a lot of them in my yard. It is also very good at mosquitos. Just spray your trees and bushes. Take a shower after spraying and wash your clothes - make sure it is not a windy day. I now wear a face mask too. Give it a try - I have had an outbreak of white flys on one of my flowering trees and they are gone. Until next year - ha ha

Asked by gardener July 21, 2020First, I am not a health expert. The label says that you can apply to some food crops if you wait 3 day until harvest. So read the label carefully. Second, I tend to be on the cautious side. I do not apply to any vegetables. I do apply to fruit trees. However I apply to fruit trees at least a week (usually two or more) before harvest. This insecticide is powerful so be very careful. By the way it is very effective on white flies on hibiscus.
