This product is water resistant.
It does not emit noticeable fumes - its water based. I suspect it is waterproof but you should check the manufacturers website. It can be painted .
Yes. Perfect product for outdoors. Water proof and weatherproof. Be sure to scrape off all the old debris as shown in your photo for best results. I also used a putty knife to smooth off all areas.
I would not use it myself on an aquarium for safety reasons. Might be best to contact your local pet store as to the appropriate product to use.

I would recommend ordering it online @ HomeDepot.com, and you can then pick it up at the Buckhead store within a few days. I've ordered numerous times and opted for free-store pick up. This process works very well for me.
I wouldn't recommend it. It's not an adhesive, just a good sealant. I'd suggest construction adhesive or better yet put in a hook/hanger with a concrete drill and screws such as Tapcon brand.

Also, Chemical Stability: Stable under normal temperatures and pressures. Hazardous Polymerization: Will not occur. Conditions to Avoid: Avoid extreme heat, flames, incompatible materials, freezing, or temperatures below 32°F (0°F). I would personally think that anything at 200 degrees would burn,, under any conditions. I and not sure why your furnace exhaust ducts would ever reach anywhere near that temperature, under normal circumstances. I hope this information is helpful.
