The Tactical LZ SA5520LZ safe provides flexible gun storage for your tactical firearms and gear. The fire-rated gun safe accommodates up to 8 long guns with space for 2 additional guns in the door compartment. You can rely on our Tactical LZ series safe to protect your valuables from fire, water and smoke with our proprietary triple seal, fire protection of 40 minutes up to 1200°F and water protection of 2 ft. up to 7 days. The security features include a rugged steel construction, three 1.5 in. active steel bolts and two 1.5 in. dead bolts, with pry resistant recessed doors. The safe is furnished with a fully carpeted interior and a zero sag, steel- reinforced top shelf. Key features include a fully programmable digital lock with an illuminated numeric touch pad and a customizable molle-style door organizer that allows you to configure your panel to meet your organizational needs. This safe is California DOJ approved and includes a lifetime warranty that covers the safe against theft, fire, natural flood, locks, parts and paint.

Nice safe.. BUT...
This safe is really nice and it seems its of good quality. I hope I never get the chance to test it out in a flood or fire. The one issue I have is the tamper alarm. The slightest bump and the dumb thing goes off. This still happens even after you have put in your code and the door open. I'll hopefully figure out how to disable it if possible. Minus the alarm its really nice and all of my things fit nicely. Submitting this review has been a pain BTW

The internet indicated that all Sports Afield safes are Made in USA. I received this safe and it is Made in China.

Safe looks very nice and was the perfect size for my needs, slat wall interior back wall is unusual but pretty cool and easily customizable. Free shipping is great, setup was easy, that’s where the good ends. Safe wouldn’t relock after closing, bolts dragged so hard on frame it takes serious effort to close, and the tamper alarm wouldn’t stop going off at the slightest touch, even when it was not activated. Contacted SA and was given some tips to remedy the issues but I’m not interested in a safe I have to “work on”, much less one that won’t lock. Sent it back, HD “lift gate” return service is a hassle to deal with. Not recommended.

It’s perfectly spacious for 3 rifles and 3 full sized pistols, plus Ammo over the rifles. Bringing it into the house was a bit of a hassle but it’s definitely worth it.
