Product Overview

  • Increase wattage by combining 2 parallel compatible generators
  • Features dual pin and ground connection
  • For up to 4,000 surge/3,600 running watts
Use the Sportsman 30 Amp Parallel Cable to chain together two parallel-ready generators to increase power and flexibility. Ideal for use with the RV, the Parallel Connector Cables plug into ports on each generator to combine the wattage of both generators, allowing the combined units to jointly run items with a larger power draw, without the trouble or expense of using a larger, heavier generator. The Sportsman Parallel Cable works with most models of parallel capable generators on the market up to 1800 max running watts.
  • Combine 2 generators to increase available wattage
  • Plugs into existing ports on the compatible generators
  • Cable can accommodate up to 3,600 running watt, 4,000 surge watt
  • Chain together 2 parallel-ready generators, each with a max of 1800 running watts
  • 30 Amp, 120-Volt, 6 ft. total cable length
  • Dual pin connector and ground connection for each generator
  • RV ready - designed with standard RV receptacle (TT-30R)
  • Parallel cable will work with most parallel-ready generators

Hello, is there a way to attach a 120v plug adapter to the 30amp RV plug. Thank you.
Asked by: RD
A 30 amp RV plug is already 120 volts. Did you mean a 15a or 20a (household) plug adapter? There are adapters available both to go from 15a household up to 30a RV and vice versa, depending on what you're trying to do. If you are looking for an adapter to plug in to this parallel cable and adapt down from a 30a RV outlet to a 15a household outlet, check out Southwire model #95449008 here on HomeDepot.com. Be careful not to overload the adapter - you won't want to put more than 15 amps through this kind of adapter, which translates to about 1800 watts. Honestly, unless you already have a pair of tiny generators (under 1800w), you'd be better off just plugging your extension cord straight into the 15a plug on the generator instead of using this parallel cable with an adapter.

Will this work with Sportsman 1000w generators

Asked by: Mike
This will work with Sportsman 1000w generators that are parallel capable, as noted by the suffix -PL in the generator's model number: #GEN1000I-PL as well as the presence of parallel output ports on the machine. There is a version of the 1000w generator that does not have the -PL suffix (#GEN1000I) which will NOT work with this parallel cable.
