can you use this for a range inside the house connecting it to a pipe to a valve that feeds the range

Asked by: Stephen
No ... this hose and regulator are designed for outdoor use and would never meet code. Also you should never operate an appliance connected to a propane tank that is inside.

What pressure should the regulator be set to power an emergency generator?

I recently purchased a dual fuel (gasoline/propane) 10,000 watt portable generator for home use and need this hose/regulator to connect my propane tank to the generator. However, I've not been able to determine what the pressure settings the regulator should be at to deliver an adequate, yet safe, flow of propane to my generator's engine. What should I set the regulator at?

I spoke with Champion in regards to a Champion 71530 generator. Specs are 1/3-1/2 lb. or .33-.48 PSI or 12-14 water column.
