Did I get a dud?
Great when new, it quickly began displaying problems. First, the headlight would work only intemittently. It then died entirely. The bar lights then started flickering at times, then went to something like 10% brightness. All this in the space of perhaps 5-7 uses. Never dropped or abused.
Going to try to get an even exchange and will update review if better. In that vein I gave it two stars and not one, thinking maybe I got a bad one?

Gave it an average review since it is metal instead of plastic, otherwise it would be fair. Flashlight function doesn't throw a beam very far at all more of a floodlight which I thought the leds on the side are for. The center row of (6) leds on the side are the flashing red ones so with the magnet on the end it could come in handy if you break down on the side of the road at night. They are not quite bright enough to notice much in daylight however. Purchased 3 of these as gifts for friends at Xmas.

I do touch it, I've been very happy with the feel and heft with my purchase. The holiday sale price made a
good deal a sweet deal. Surprised with how strong the magnet is and bright lights, you better shield your eyes.
I'll be disappointed when I need to use the flashing red and remember it isn't in the car :~<
So far so good. Thanks Home Depot.
