Professional Watch Jewelry Repair Tool Kit (16-Piece)

A:  The tool to unscrew a back off a watch will open to about 1 5/8" which is not what I would call a large watch by today's standards. The same goes for the watch holder. I easily modified the tool by grinding out the slot to open to over 1 3/4" and now it works on all my watches.

A:  I would say yes. The spacing for the 2 pins on the tool to screw off backs of a watch expands to about 1 5/8 inches center to center.

A:  No, it doesn't work on large watches.

A:  If it is a screw on back not without modification. The removal tool will not open up far enough to access the indents in the watch back. The tool is easily modified with a dremel tool by enlarging the slot to whatever size you need. Pop on backs are no problem.

A:  You'll have to ask the seller as instructions for any of the tools in this kit simply doesn't exist.

A:  I haven't tried, but it should. I used it for all the other watches we have in order to change the battery.

A:  No, the tool only opens to about 42mm. If you are willing, you can grind out the slot like I did and now it will work on just about any watch.

A:  Yes, it Should do the trick.

A:  No, it does not have a presser to reattach the back. I've always used my fingers especially to make sure the tiny rubber O ring fits correctly in its place.

A:  No it did not come with it.

A:  No special back presser, but I don’t need it when I change batteries. I just screw the back on: first with my fingers and later with the tightening tool.

A:  I bought the kit for my son and I don't think it had a tool for replacing the back on the watch. I worked in a watch repair shop while attending college in the 1970s. If the watch back can be popped off with the edge of a pocketknife, one should have no problem popping it back on if it is lined up right. While holding the watch in both hands, with both thumbs at the bottom of the case on each side, use pressure and an upward motion to pop the back into place...kind of like putting the lid on a Tupperware container. The recommendation is to change the battery on a yearly basis, however, I have had batteries run for eighteen months. I'd say change the battery when the watch starts running slow.

A:  no it does not and instructions are not clear if you don't know how to use these tools.

A:  No, this did not. But I found a plastic case at Home Depot that was less than $5 and they fit just fine.

A:  It does not come with a storage case. It only has the plastic front and back.

A:  No it does not. I just keep the tools in my watch box. The tools are easy to use. I basically use them to remove a link or two for a better watch fit. Its a breeze!
