The compressor runs for ten minutes before it requires a 30 minute cooldown. That's usually enough to inflate 2-3 tires, depending on the size of your vehicle and the pressure of the tires.

There is an adapter that comes with it. Plug that into the small hole on top then plug the extension cord into that.

Mine stopped taking a charge, so no jumper or compressor. any ideas for a fix.

There are many reasons that will trigger this problem (not charging, and the battery charge indicator persistently showing "low")... the two primary reasons are: #1 reason is that you have not been maintaining the unit as per the manufacturers instructions (charging/topping-off once a month). #2 The age of the device (like with any battery). 1. Refer to the manual (were you following maintenance instructions? If not, you may have damaged the battery cells beyond ability to recharge). 2. Contact the manufacturers support number, and follow-up, especially if it is still under warranty . Good luck.

short life
Started out wrong, took days of charging too get the fully charged light to come on, and would go out the day after you unplugged it. Less then two old and it will no longer charge. The Black & Decker I had before lasted over 8 years. Big waste of money.

Stanley FATMAX Jumpit 700A PORTABLE POWER Sadly disappointed with this product...Purchased it from HD Early June '20 because we had some vehicles sitting due to the COVID lockdown. Right away in June '20 the first time use was on a 2.0L Inline 4cyl and it worked great! Cut to 3mos later in Sept '20 for its 2nd use; we tried to jumpstart a 2.5L 5cyl and the Stanley FATMAX balked and failed quickly. [Even after charging it for longer than 30+ hours ahead of time.] Then in November '20, was its 3rd use on a 4cyl and it failed again. Today, March 24th, 2021 was its 4th usage attempt at jumpstarting a 4cyl and again it failed. It seems to drop or lose its power/charge drastically or very quickly even after charging for 24+ hours ahead of time in anticipation of its need. We can't explain it as simply, "it doesn't hold a charge...". It's not really like that. It just seems like it has a full charge but it "shoots its load" right away and peters out right in the midst of turning it over on the first key-turn attempt. We had to resort to connecting old fashioned jumper-cables to a running car to successfully jump the cars in all the instances where this product failed us. We're not sure if we're just stuck with a pricey flashlight, backup phone charger and toy/mini air compressor; but it certainly has not been the working, functional jumpstarter we thought we bought. Thank goodness the V6 & I-6 cars & trucks we have had not needed jumping. And we highly doubt it could even turn over a small V8, even though it's touted on the packaging. We really wanted it to work. Hope others' experience(s) were / are better. Thanks for providing the forum to share

Doesn’t Last
Seemed to work great the week I bought it. The second time I tried to use the compressor it just didn’t pump anything. I’d had it about 1 month and only used it once but nothing. The battery didn’t last much longer. I guess I got 6 months out of the battery but it had lost a bit of power even by then. On a 6 month old battery it had just enough power to turn over a small car. Spend the extra and go for the Lithium Ion
