This product is perfect for storing and taking my Featherweight Sewing machine to my sewing days. The hard case protects my machine and I have plenty of room to store my projects and sewing necessities. The height of the assembled tool chest is perfect to sit beside me to use for extra space and to use as table to hold my mini ironing board.

I bought this tool box for light tools used for espresso machine repair. The first issue I had was the tray in the tool box falls and dumps out when the tool box is tilted. It tilts when using the handle and rolling. Then a month and a half later the handle breaks off. Very poor quality plastics used.

THIS TOOL BOX WAS PERFECT FOR OUR HOME. JUST THE RIGHT SIZE TO FIT ALL HIS TOOLS BIG AND SMALL. ITS ON ROLLERS SO IT CAN BE ROLLED UPSTAIRS AND DOWN WITH EASE. THE TOP COMPARTMENT COME OFF IF YOU JUST HAVE A SMALL PROJECT OUTSIDE TO CONTEND WITH. WE REALLY THINK THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT FOR ANYONE.

      Decent Product for the Price
For the price, this toolbox is hard to argue with. However, it is not very heavy duty. I work on pools and it can carry a good deal of equipment but I end up replacing it annually. At $30 bucks it's not a big deal. This version is a bit improved over the previous one. However, the folding handle and hinges remain the weak point in the entire box. But again, for the money, it's pretty good. And there is not a whole lot available similar to this or close to the same price. If your work is light-duty or your tools are lightweight, this should last you a long time.

      Stanley 3-IN-1 ROLLING WORKSHOP
This item is a very good value given the $30 cost. It has metal hinges and clamps for the bottom and top locks instead of plastic and holds a fair amount of tools. It has to be tilted at 30 degrees for the wheels to roll easily but it is still a great alternative to the $80 4 in 1 alternative.

Good overall, with a few shortcomings.
Just picked this up today. My job is moving me back out into the field and I needed something more than my small "bare essentials" 17x9x9 toolbox. This seemed to fit the bill, especially at the price. Here are my first impressions. What I like: The top tool box is roomy. Tthere's good clearance between the lid and the top tray so it accomodates bulkier items up top and the lower bin is also very deep. It should easily be able to hold most average drill/drivers and other one-handed power tools. The tray itself is not as wide as the front-to-back width of the box. This allows you to slide it forward or backwards to see/reach stuff down in the lower section instead of always having to remove it. The tray lip locks on some grooves on the back edge of the box to keep it from sliding around. It's not a great design, though. More on that below. There's a divided parts box sandwiched between the tool box and the bottom bin. It's a good size and it latches closed tightly. There are 9 smaller middle dividers for nuts and bolts and then 3 larger bins for larger items or more tools. You can ditch the parts box if you don't need it and just latch the tool box to the big lower bin. Smart. The bottom bin is pretty huge and there's no axel rod or anything running through the middle of it like on some other rolling models I'd seen. The wheels are independent and actually appear to be almost built like a cartridge that slides up into channels in the side of the bin. It looks like if you ever damaged a wheel it'd be a very simple thing to pop out and replace with a new one, rather than to have to junk the whole unit. Nice thinking. Things I'm not thrilled about: The dividers in the tool tray of the top box are shallow and don't keep stuff from sliding around well. It would have been better if they were the full depth of the tray. Regarding the sliding tray I mentioned earlier - Instead of a full rail for the tray to slide on, there are intermittently spaced little risers. Poor design. If you're not careful while sliding the tray, and/or if the tray isn't evenly loaded, it may want to flip over between the risers, dumping all of your contents into the lower bay. Definitely something to be wary of. The stops on the lid hinges keep it from opening past 90 degrees. Subsequently it is always barely balancing itself open and wants to slam shut on you while you're rooting around inside the box. I'm not sure why it's designed like that. The lid isn't anywhere heavy enough to topple the case, even if it was empty, if you opened it another 5-10 degrees. It's a little flimsy. Depending on how it's loaded, the sides of the top toolbox can flex a little and you have to line the lid up to get it to latch properly. In my line of work I am not going to put a contruction-site beating nor likely exceed the 35lb load limit on this but I'm not sure how it would hold up to people who are hard on their stuff. I would have paid another 5-10 bucks for it to be a bit sturdier overall. They were probably trying to save weight, but still. The handle is a bit short. I appreciate how it folds flush into the top of the lid and thus there were limitations to how long they could make it. I'm (only) about 5'11" with long arms and it's just teetering on being at a comfortable height. It's also all plastic. Seems sturdy enough but time will tell. Other items of note: The parts box doesn't secure to the base bin at all. It's secured by being sandwiched between the top and bottom boxes when they're locked together. When the top box is off, It just nests inside the mouth of the lower bin, serving as a drop-in lid of sorts. Not a big deal, I suppose. It sits in there pretty well. If you choose not to use it, though, your bottom bin won't have a lid to protect items from the elements or anything if you take the top box off. You have to be careful about loading it top-heavy, of course. I didn't have anything in the lower bin yet after transferring my basics into the top toolbox and it didn't take much of a nudge to knock the whole thing over. All in all, I don't know that you can beat it for the money. It's dirt cheap for all the storage that you get and it seems to roll well. If it holds up, it's a deal at twice the price. I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could.
