Great to have for emergency
Nice rope to have in a vehicle for emergency usage and have it next to your jumper cables. The two metal hooks at each end are super duty, and the clips lock easily to most metal frames or vehicle tow. I clip the hook directly on my truck's tow trailer receiver hitch mount. The rope ends tips are melted and braided back into the rope, which looks slightly loose. I would give this product 5 stars if it had a ring clamp to hold the end tips. There is a rubber sleeve at each end, but that is just a cover for the end tips. Don't leave the rope exposed to the sun or extreme heat for a long time. To conclude, this is a good strap for emergencies, and I expect to use it for short tow distances or to free a disabled vehicle.

Just what I needed
I live in a very rural area and tend to carry equipment to assist in breakdowns, etc. This tow rope is the right size for most anything I will have to deal with. The rope is 5/8 in diameter and 15 ft long. It has a working strength of 2400 lbs and breaking strength of 7200 lbs. It rolls up easily and doesn't take a lot of room. The hooks are well made and sturdy.

This Stanley 15 foot braided two rope has two super-sturdy hooks and is rated for 2400 pounds with a 7200 pound break strength. This should be plenty for most towing/pulling needs. The hooks each have a sturdy clip, that locks the hooks into place for no accidental slips from the intended anchor spot. In addition, the 15 foot length offers good flexibility for different uses. Plus, when you’re finished with it, it actually fits back inside it’s original box for storage!

Decent looking tow hook
It seems to be of decent enough quality to serve its purpose. The real test will come when dragging a 2500 Promaster into the shop with a blown engine which happens often enough. It isn’t the highest quality tow hook I’ve seen. There are higher end looking made in USA options. But as long as it holds up, it’s a reasonable value proposition. The locking flap on the hook seems to be a little cheaper made than the hook itself, but isn’t necessarily a concern and is a nice feature with spring loading to secure the hook once it is latched onto something. Also comes with decent instructions for how to properly tow a vehicle with it. Overall a decent product worth checking out. If it doesn’t hold up as well as I’d expect, I’ll submit an updated review at that time.

Beautiful tow rope
This thing is great. You can see in the pictures that it connects to my hitch perfectly. I needed a rope for my car so that if I get stuck in the ditch or the snow, I can get out easily. Its very easy to work with and isn't that stiff to move and coil. In fact it coils up really neatly and will fit in the smallest of compartments. The pics show it all. Nice looking and very functional. Very happy with this tow rope.

Durable, compact, lightweight, and great for emergencies.
I will go over some specification's of this tow rope and then share my experience. This tow rope is 15 ft. in length and 5/8 in. in diameter. The rope is braided with a poly blend material that resists wear and absorbs jerking. The rope has soft rubber grip handles on the ends before the hook that can slide and be repositioned . The grips are not just a soft spot to grab onto but are also used to protect the rope splice, vehicles, and other surfaces from rubbing against the rope. The hooks are a very solid hard metal that are 4 in. in length, with a 2 3/8 in. Width. The inner part of the hook is 1 7/8 in. The hooks have a tri hook design that maximizes performance and resists torque. The rated safe working limit is 2,400 lbs and a break strength of 7,200 lbs. I have decided to get this tow rope because I drive over 2 hours a day on the high way. I live in Massachusetts and we get some wild snow storms. The last storm we got my Coworker slid off the highway and got stuck. He called me and asked me to come help him. He asked me to help pull him out and I laughed. I was in a little Toyota corolla and he was in an SUV. I didn't carry a strap, rope, or chain on me. Thankfully he did, he pulled out a tow rope and I was able to get him back on the road. I decided I wanted to get one to keep in my trunk for emergencies. When I had the chance to get this tow rope I grabbed it. The rope feels durable and braided together nicely. The hooks on this unit are lighter then my coworkers but feel just as durable. I like the shape of these hooks. I was able to connect to a spot on my car that his hooks would not fit. Although I have not had an actual emergency yet my neighbor was kind enough to let me pull his van to test this out. I towed him up the street and then had him tow me down. This rope does seem to absorb more of the shock and jolts then the one I used in the past. I have read a couple complaints from people who were upset about the splice not being glued. This was actually a plus for me. Some companies only glue the tip if they glue it at all. I just used gorilla glue and was able to glue in-between and over the splice instead of just the tip. It is durable, lightweight, does not take up much space, and can save you in an emergency. If my buddy had a tow truck come pull him out he would have easily spent 5 times the price of this rope. There are a million uses for this rope but I suggest everyone keep a tow rope in their vehicle for an emergency.

Almost perfect.
Good tow chain. This will replace the one metal one I borrow from my dad. This one is significantly lighter and easier to maneuver. The braids are tight and thick and strong. For only downfall I found is that the hooks don't hook onto my hitch, as it's the hook mouth isn't wide enough. I can put the chain though the hitch and connect it back to itself but it's not ideal. Other than thay issue, ill.be using this chain alot.

Might work in an emergency, but its a bit light for use in a full sized truck
This tow rope is best for your ATV, Side by side, or smaller cars. The braided rope is kind of unwieldy when trying to bundle it up for storage when not is use. The biggest issue is the hooks, they are too small to attach to the front recovery hooks on a modern truck. They attached ok to the loops on each side of the hitch receiver on the back of the truck, but were far too small for the front hooks. I could probably pass the hook through the front recovery hooks on the truck and click back onto the rope in a pinch. Also could be a good option to give you additional length between two additional tow ropes. Breaking strength is 7200 lbs

Well to be honest for what this braided tow rope he’s going to be use for, it works perfectly fine the quality is all right it’s not the best but it’s good and since it’s rarely gonna be used & in case of emergencies I think it will work fine I would not consider it to be used on a daily basis though . Besides that it’s a good tool to have in your car or truck
