I give it 5 stars considering the price. If I did a lot of carpentry work I would invest in a higher quality saw. But this is perfect for ocassional small projects.

Replaced all of my saws
i owned a number of high quality standard sized saws......all dull and in need of sharpening. After checking on the cost to sharpen a saw I donated them all to a church rummage sale. I can buy three of the Stanley saws for the price of sharpening one saw. The new Stanley cuts like a dream....Why did I tolerate tying to saw with a dull saw for so long....never again. Did I mention it cuts like a dream? Keep in mind the low price for this saw....amazing value. I plan to buy another.....again....it cuts like a dream.
