Great for getting rid of ice dams
This hammer isn’t even phased by the 6 inch dam on my roof. Spent all day hitting this ice dam with this hammer and it wasn’t even phased. The claw of the hammer was able to lift up huge chunks of ice and send them soaring. Stanley must have had some wicked hard ice dams when he made this hammer because he made an ice dam hammer like no other!

Weekend projects are now a little easier with my new Stanley 16 oz fiberglass hammer. I never realized how a little more weight on the head of the hammer makes it easier to put picture nails on the wall. The grip is nice, especially compared to my old hammer! I also noticed that the top of the hammer is covered, which I hope is to keep the head in place, unlike my old hammer. Guess I should have updated sooner!

I guess saying they "nailed it" would be too easy. I have had 2 dollar hammers and 45 dollar hammers. This hammer is among the higher quality with the lower price. The handle is comfortable and encourages you to hold the hammer towards the end of the handle, where you should hold a hammer. This makes it easier to drive nails with less effort. I didn't notice any vibration when striking nails and my hand was not overly tired after a day of using the hammer. I would recommend this hammer to anyone needing another one.

This is an overall good and durable hammer. It has a grip that makes it easier to hold on to and feel less vibrations. This is good for everyday use around the house. It is lightweight so even people with arthritis or joint pain should be able to hold it firmly. I like it that it is yellow so it is easy for me to spot it. It has a precise curved claw that makes it easier to remove nails even little ones. I don’t foresee any future issues with this hammer. I’m a diy female and I really like it. I also gifted one to my mom and she was able to hold on to it very good.
