      Q:do you now what type of rubber they are made of. I am doing a school project and we are sending different types of rubber to the atmosphere. If you know could u let me know. thank you.

      A:  The label is still on my mallet, but it doesn't say the makeup of it. I did some Googling and it appears that it is regular rubber. There can be soft and hard rubbers. As a student, you should contact Stanley Tools directly and they may provide the composition details for your project. Good luck!

        This is a very large, high quality mallet. I purchased this to use to tap maple trees for sap in the spring. It's the middle of the winter right now so I can't try it out, but it's a rubber mallet. The rubber is extremely durable, and there's a good weight/heft to this product. I know it will work well for my intended purpose. I've tried using dollar store rubber mallets but they don't hold up well.

        The mallet is great for putting paint can lids back on and knocking items into place without marring up the surface that you are making contact. The white rubber is solid enough to keep from bouncing the mallet back at your head when you strike your target. The only issue is the handle on the mallet is slightly crooked. When you hold the handle correctly the mallet head is just slightly twisted. It doesnt effect the way the mallet works or its effectness. It is just nitpicking on the quality of construction of the mallet. I would buy this mallet again.

        This is exactly what I needed to do to put down a metal and I would recommend it highly can’t go wrong with Stanley good way good feel durable and it will come in handy for future products and I have a feeling that it will last as long as I needed to. I have a good feeling that it will come in handy when I finish this shelving project I have coming soon but I’m very satisfied with the product.

                  It's a mallet, people. Yes, I was able to hit things successfully with it. Exactly what I hit has been sealed by the courts. Contact my attorney for further details.
