Light weight, functional and easy to find!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely a must-have to the arsenal of tools you will need around the house or on the work truck. I was pleasantly surprised that this level was very light weight. It helped ensure the quality of my work by ensuring everything was level and assisted with verifying measurements a third time in many cases prior to cutting into something. The etched in inches / centimeters are a great functional addition that don't rub off easily. The high visibility yellow made it quite easy to spot this tool in a very busy work space as I am renovating a laundry room/ pantry/ 1st floor bathroom. I would argue this is a great investment in a tool to ensure high quality work. Highly recommend.

One level everyone needs

I am reviewing the Stanley 48” High Impact ABS I-Beam Level, 42-470.
The level is a common tool for trades and homeowners alike. This level is somewhat different as it is bright yellow in color and made of strong ABS plastic.
Measuring 48”, the level includes 3 bubble type levels; vertical, horizontal and 45 degrees. All three measure accurately and read clearly. One side of the level includes a window for viewing the middle bubble. On one side the level also includes a measure in inches by 16th and in centimeters.
A lightweight tool, this level is easily carried with the 6 integrated grips or hung from the handy hook space at one end.

Simple
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the simplicity & ease of use of this Level. It's super light so using it one handed is never a problem & the neon yellow makes it easy to find in the studio. I also like that it's not metal so that I can use it on more delicate projects (furniture, artwork, etc.) without worrying that it'll scratch things. The ruler markings seem permanent (I tried to scratch them off with my fingernail). I'd say the only flaw for me is the eyesore of the giant black oblong/oval shape that encases the center bubble vial (think 1999 skateboard/ alien logo); it's just a personal opinion but as a professional artist I do preference aesthetics into my purchases- but since the functionality is perfect I think it deserves five stars.

A great inexpensive level
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great level for when you’re working with prefinished materials. It’s less likely to damage a delicate surface than a metal level. Mine has the slightest little curve on the side, so it’s not the best straight edge but it’s very accurate on the top and bottom. The plastic is very strong and seems like it can take a fair amount of abuse. If you’re looking for a cheap level that won’t scratch your surfaces this is a great choice.

Accurate and light weight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since receiving this level I have used it almost daily. The accuracy is unmatched, and the light weight design is great. My only concern is durability. I, like many others, drop tools on occasion. With the lightweight design, I am wondering if it could withstand a small to moderate drop. Thus far no problems, so 5 stars.

light weight and accurate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't mistake this for a cheap lumber yard plastic level. This thing is accurate and tough! It spent about a week on the jobsite before I wrote this review. It does everything a 48" level should. The size makes it handy for applications in framing and masonry, which the light weight sets it apart from its contemporaries in terms of portability. Despite the light weight, it appears to be fairly rugged, but I like it too much to subject it to any real durability tests. This level is a solid choice for projects where repeated use is necessary. The measurement markings are a nice touch as well. They came in handy more often than I initially expected. The bright yellow color made it easily identifiable on the jobsite. Anyone who has spent much time with construction knows how valuable that can be. Bottom line: it is a solid buy if you need a dependable 48" level.

Perfect Bathroom Renovation Level!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I selected this lightweight, yet durable Stanlley 48" ABS I-Beam Level for a bathroom remodel I'm undertaking in our master bathroom. I needed a nice 48" level that would help ensure my vertical and horizontal tile lines were level as I progressed through the remodel of my bathroom floor, shower and bath walls. This level did the trick, was lightweight and didn't leave any marks on the tile while tiling. The level indicators were easy to read and as a bonus has a measuring scale on the top side of the level. I didn't drop the level through the remodel process but the ABS material is shock resistant in case it fell. Tiling can be messy with thin set but the level cleaned up nicely. I'm happy with my selection. I took pictures after tiling but I can ensure you that the level was key to the end result.

Build it level and have some fun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted this specifically to hang mirrors and frames on the wall. We all know how fun that is. It worked like a charm. The measurements on the side are super helpful. It levels perfectly. It's also light so your arm doesn't ache holding up on the wall trying to mark measurements, and it also doesn't scratch the wall since it's plastic. I also used it when leveling my retaining wall. It came out nice and the level suited it's purpose. For the price, I expected a flimsy piece of plastic that could be easily broken -- on the contrary, this is very sturdy and not at all likely to fail.
