Support both US and standard measure?

Does this measure provide both US (inch, feet) and international standard measure(meter, cm)?

If by "Standard Measure" you are referring to Metric the answer is No . It's display is in U.S. whole feet & fractional inches only.

I own several Stanley products, including multiple tape measures.  This is hands down my favorite. I like it the best because of its size, weight, and convenience.  For most household tasks I don't need a bulky 25' roll. It's a great product that you can count on.  I have owned mine for nearly a decade during which time it has proven itself as an indispensable part of my toolbox.  It's affordably priced and well built--both the locking mechanism and belt clip are well built and perform reliably.  I have no regrets with this purchase and would highly recommend this product.  I mine all the time; at home, at friends, and outdoors.  It stands up to abuse very well, perform reliably, and are built to last a lifetime.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Top quality and low cost! A tape measure is a must but there are so many to choose from these days, so how do you decide? Well I've bought, used, worn out, broken and returned many tape measures over the past 30+years and of all the tape measures I've tried, I always seem to go back to the standard Stanley Powerlock. It always works well, even under the toughest circumstances and it only cost about $14. So, if I break or loose it, I don't feel as bad as if I lost or destroyed one that cost me $25 bucks or more. If you don't need a 30 footer, I recommend the 25 ft model that cost about $9. Same quality, durability and great price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have several of these I'm a homeowner, part-time woodworker, and have participated in several construction projects. For general use, the Stanley 16 ft. tape is a great size for me, although I also have some 30 ft. and 12 ft. models as well. I keep a 16 ft. in my car, the garage, the kitchen, and my home office. I really like the Stanley tapes because they are just the right size for the tape they hold, not oversize like some others. The metal case is much stronger than plastic, the lock button works well and is positioned right for the thumb, the tape is sturdy and doesn't wear out easily, and the spring works well. A little expensive, but worth it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The tip breaks off The tape is nice looking and if used lightly I am sure it will last. I purchased one of these a few weeks back. I needed to measure several lengths of studs that were standing in a building. After about 30 minutes, the end of the tape broke off just behind the reinforcement at the end of the tape. Stanley wants me to ship it to them so that they can decide if it is a manufacturing fault. I purchased the tape for under 10 dollars and it would cost me the same to send it back to them! I would be better off just buying another if I was so inclined ! Warranty- worthless. Nice looking tape though!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality tape for the price As a former project manager, I always kept a few of these in my truck in case someone needed one. You have to take care with these as the tape is relatively weak, especially if it gets away from you when it’s retracting. It can easily snap if you don’t slow it down. These are actually pretty durable considering the price-point. I have dropped them from 2-3 stories up and had them work just fine. I have used other tapes that cost over twice as much and while they might last a little longer, it doesn’t usually make up for the extra cost. Besides the other ones never seem to fit in my tool bag pouch as well as this one did.

I own several Stanley products, including multiple tape measures.  Among them are two 25', one 16', this 12' and a 3'.  When it comes to my favorite, it's a toss-up between the 16' and the 12' based on their size, weight, and convenience.  This is a great product that you can count on, even though this is a recent purchase it has already proven itself as an indispensable part of my toolbox.  I've used it to measure all sorts of things. It's affordably priced and durable--both the locking mechanism and belt clip perform reliably.  I have no regrets with this purchase and would highly recommend this product.  It stands up to abuse very well and is built to last a lifetime.

The ssme. if you extend it out to its limit whether it's 16 ft 25ft 35 ft sometimes it's hard to go back in. they always seem to tear, all depends on the usage some may be used more than others. don't know what kind of material can be produce for the lifetime of tape measure. there's that possibilities that they're not made for Lifetime if you're in the construction business is a daily tool that gets a lot of wear and tear and I know that all brands can't be backed up with a free replacement although they should because tape-measure there not cheap in price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Did not last long.....chopped with saw The tape measure was placed on a radial saw and when one of the workers went to cut a piece of metal we heard a loud noise and watched something fly across the room.....It was our new tape measure. Since I am sure acidentallly cutting with a saw is not covered under the warranty we did not get to evaluate our new one, however Stanley is the only brand of tape measure we buy because they are easy to read, lasts long and stay accurate.Incidentally the saw lost two teeth in its battle with the Stanley tape measure.
