Would this work for stapling foam underlayment for a vinyl floor?
Asked by Karen May 24, 2019Yes it is as long as you use metal rings so the staples do not cut through the foam underlayment.
Can I use this to install a carpet runner on stairs?
Asked by susanb37 February 17, 2019Probably not as the largest staple this gun can use is 5/8 of an inch long which might not be long enough to go through carpet and padding and into the wood far enough to hold the carpet securely. Carpet installation says use an industrial stapler which means longer staples and made to securely staple carpet to the step.
