Difference between this GR25-2, and the GR25 actually in the store? I chose this one, GR25-2, but my local store had GR25 instead. I bought one, and it works well. I don't see any difference in the specs. Other than a different label on the side of the gun, and different color printing of High/Low, is there any real difference between the two models?
Asked by: LJ

Does this thing actually work? Then How? Mine does Not.

Nothing comes out of the tip / working end. All of the melted glue comes out the entrance / loading end. Waiting more than 20 minutes and nothing but a bloody mess. No functionality at all. So what am I missing here? It seems as though the device is blocked, clogged up with some sort of a blockage. Is that normal? Unit heats up, glue sticks go in the loading, Nothing comes out the tip, Melted glue comes pouring out the loading place with a hot sticky mess. My only assumption is a defective unit with some sort of blockage in the heating end of the device.

Trigger-Feed Standard Dual-Melt Glue Gun is rated 2.6 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn’t work. The yellow trigger button doesn’t close enough to push it through, and the front nozzle is somehow blocked. When I try to push it through, hot glue overflows through the back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works as intended I am not sure how this compare to other brands, but my experience with this item has been excellent. The glue stick melts quickly, no need to wait very long to use it. The trigger is soft, so controlling the amount of glue for application is not an issue - you can have a lot or as little glue depending on how hard you squeeze the trigger. The only issue I have is - after you release the trigger, there are still a few glue coming out of the nozzle, but I think this is normal for any glue guns. I wished that the plastic leg located just below the muzzle is a bit more sturdier and longer - but that's a minor issue. Overall, works great for its purpose and am very satisfied.
