The Star Brite was great as a build up on my I-phone carrying case in allowing the phone to clip in place without the phone falling out of the case. Love the way it leaves a smooth finish. Love the way your able to build multiple coats to accomplish the thickness needed for the job!!! Thank you Star Brite.

    Under hood harness fix
For complex splicing, this product can take heat and fuel exposure. I used this product on critical application fuel injector connection replacement. Cut out old defective connector did Western Union splice then 3 M electrical tape then seal with Liquid Tape. I also just did major harness repair today on wiper washer wire harness it had been damaged during engine replacement. The Liquid Tape again save the day. Plus sets up ⬆️ n 5 minutes.

I have a seat warmer for my truck that it's electrical cord pulled away from it's control, exposing copper wire. I used this to coat the wires and it appears to have worked very well. It comes out rather thin so I applied several coats from both sides of the cord and let it sit for 24 hours. Although the can is small, it will probably last me a lifetime!

I used this product to seal in-line electronic element in an LED Christmas light string. Water was seeping into the container and the device was frying. Tape wouldn't hold up and this liquid tape conforms to the surface and probably even fills the gap in the container. I did the whole string. I hope this reduces the amount of maintenance on this light string.

My husband is a chef who is constantly burning up the cords on small kitchen appliances. This product worked perfectly at repairing the section of cord that was damaged. In the long run this makes it much easier to clean and make the cord waterproof too.

Liquid Electrical Tape Works!!! This liquid tape does what it says it will. It covers electrical connections to prevent shorts. It works where heat shrink tubing can not be applied. It is a little messy to apply and the brush is to big making it difficult to apply to small/tight places (this is the reason for taking away one star). I build/repair quad copters (drones) and some of the connections are very small. I prefer heat shrink tubing but as I said, some connections are not accessible to heat shrink tubing. I will definitely use this product again when necessary.

The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because it can be a bit clumpy making it impossible to have a totally smooth application. However this is preferable to it being too runny and dripping all over the place. The BEST part is that it remains flexible and also does not unwind the way electrical tape does For me it is very useful for repairing charger cables that are always fraying

        Perfect Solution
This is the product I've waited for for for a long time. What took them so long to invent this? Or did I just miss it before now. It required multiple coats but gave a wonderful result. I needed multiple splice joints T'ing off the 12V supply line for landscape lighting. The clip-on T's don't give a reliable connection, so I stripped insulation and soldered each T joint (100W iron). I just needed to cover the exposed copper and this did the trick. Shrink wrap is impossible to put on a T junction and electrical tape wouldn't work well exposed to wet weather.

        Love This Stuff!!
This is the kind of stuff I wish was around years ago. But I wont dwell...lol Its great for any minor wiring jobs for electronics. I do a lot of RC stuff and this makes it much easier for me. I even used this to repair a cable cover on my porch. Mildly exposed to the elements for over a year and its still holding up.
