    This item is very accurate and works as described. Has the same features as meters costing 2 & 3 times more. Even has a light for dark areas. A good buy for the money, and handy to have around. Don't cover up wet material. Dry it out first. This tool helps me do things right, the first time.

    It worked perfect, I thought the wood was dry enough because of how long the fence was up, but found with the meter in shady spots I needed to wait a little longer. Two weeks later it was ready to stain. Friends have borrowed it so it’s worth having. Only want to stain once and have it hold up.
