The chain is nice but the lock is horrible almost...

This beast is unmatched in the universe of bike locks - for beefiness and price. The cover is as heavy duty as the iron and will last me forever, while protecting not only my bike but its paint job.

Best I can say for this purchase. The CHAIN “worked”....
Best I can say for this purchase. The CHAIN “worked”. It hangs. The (key) lock went bad after 7-8 days. Neither of the two keys worked at that point. I still have the lock. Tried to return to a local Home Depot. Called first. They couldn't accept the return: Home Depot.com is a “different operation” than Home Depot”.
I still have the lock, haven't had time to arrange a pick-up / return. (Bought a combination Master Lock – working just fine). So it wasn't a total waste. Can I return the lock? The whole purchase was $25 or so. To go through the time to arrange a pick-up / return won't be worth it.
