The Steel Core 6 in. 5.5 Amp cut-off saw makes short work of small stock and individual pieces. The quick-lock vise holds round or square pieces still. The stock and fence adjust for 0 to 45° miter cuts. Features blade guard to deflect sparks and easy to replace carbon brushes.

The base and hinge do not stabilize the saw for consistent mitre cuts. The motor is powerful enough to cut soft metals. Would have been a much better saw if the hinge would have been rigid for cutting consistency. Another substandard Chinese tool, probably won't last as long as Corona Virus.

No matter how carefully and slowly I cut, I could not get this to make a straight cut. I squared itup several times but no luck. I was more accurate with a hand grinder and a cut off wheel. Returning it to store.
