LOVE this tankless water heater!! We debated between the Tempra 29 and the Tempra 24. I think the 24 would have been plenty large enough but we decided not to risk it and went bigger with the 29. As a few other reviews stated, you need a minimum GPM for the hot water to kick in. We tested all ours before installation and thought we would be fine, but one of our shower heads and one bathroom faucet were apparently not strong enough. I replaced the aerator in the bathroom faucet (a $2 fix) and removed the O-ring from the flow restrictor in the shower head, and we were good to go. We live in a condo so the added space we gained by removing the old tank water heater was priceless. The unit arrived well packaged and is super quiet when running. It may take 20 seconds for the hot water to come out of the shower furthest from the unit, but it took closer to 30 seconds with the old tank, so that's not a problem for us. Couldn't be happier with this unit!!

Works great except for flow switch issue
It heats water like a champ with less power than I anticipated, but minimum water flow is way more than the stated .77 GPM. I can't get it to turn on with less than 3 GPM flowing through it. I'm still evaluating it but thats my initial take.

It is working wonderfully. A bit of a learning curve with regards to the water temp. I thought I needed hotter water temp than 120* so that I could blend with cold to wash dogs and as it turns out that will trip its safeties. So for longer life span and easier for the unit, 120 -130 * is working out just fine now. Very pleased with it. We had it professionally installed by an electrician and water plumbed in by a plumber.
