Yes, this tub is insulated with fiber glass, if you would like to add insulation for purposes of retaining heat, you can do so by flipping the tub upside down and accessing the walls of the tub from underneath. Gorgeous tub. Looks significantly more high end than the tubs displayed in-store. Was a little nervous to purchase not being able to see it in-person, but it was the right choice.

The tub is well made. Also had excellent packaging.Tub came in a double walled reinforced cardboard box on a long pallet. I had previously attempted to buy a similar tub from Wayfair and it came with a crack on the rim due to the poor packaging. This happened twice with the crack in the same place.
