I purchased this rug gripper to secure our dining room carpet. It is working so much better than the corner sticky grips we were using (don't waste your cash on those corner grips). This rug pad is holding up to our 2 year old dog's running and quick stops on the rug when she is chasing her toys. When she would play on the carpet before it would bunch up, the corners would flip up, and I was constantly straightening out the carpet. Now the rug stays right in its place. We have an indoor/outdoor rug and we noticing before using this rug pad it would "bubble" or bulge up when the dining chairs where moved in and out and we'd trip over it. But with the Traffic Master rug pad that is no longer an issue; the rug stays flush and flat on the floor; I love my carpet again. It isn't bulky and would be easy to cut to the size you need. This pad holds up or I should say holds down our rug even through puppy playtime & heavy traffic. I would definitely recommend the Traffic Master Rug Gripper to anyone b/c it works, it isn't hard to install and it is affordable. It may look simple or thin but it is not "cheap" quality. It does it's job well!

The pad is not cut square so it must be trimmed to fit a 5x8 rug. Also, the pad does not stop rug...

Also, the pad does not stop rug movement with traffic across. It seems the gripping power to the rug is not good enough.
