Legacy 1,000 sq. ft. Panoramic Infrared Electric Stove in Black

Love it! Just received ours today. It came well packaged and was easily assembled in 5-10 minutes, if that. The flame is very realistic and the overall aesthetics are an extra plus. The fireplace does give off a chemically smell when you turn the heat on (chemical warnings in manual). Yet, we plan to put it in a different room to let it air out and believe all should be fine. I would like to add, too, that this fireplace is one of the larger sizes available. All the others I initially found were too small for what we wanted. Good product for the price. Highly recommend!

I love this fireplace! I was really not into the idea of having an electric fireplace because most that I've seen have looked really cheesy. The flame on this is the most realistic I've seen, even from much more expensive models, and it puts out a lot of heat without running up my electric bill. We built a mantel around it, and I couldn't be happier with how it looks! I just ordered the smaller version for my bedroom.

I purchased this unit to supplement my regular heating in the house. I like a warm cozy living room, but colder bedrooms so this unit helps me achieve that. The heat circulates throughout my entire floor keeping the living room, kitchen and hallway warm, I close the doors to the bedrooms to keep them cooler, my upper floor is about 1500 square feet. It is quiet and relaxing to watch the LED Flames. The temperature control is great as well, high keeps it on all the time or knock it down and it will only come on as it reaches your desired temperature range. The only downside is there are no numbers, just a dial so you have to sort of guess at how warm you want it, but it doesn't take long to figure that out. As a bonus, my personal experience, the electric bill has gone down about $30 a month after purchasing this unit. It is also a beautiful piece of furniture and is not very heavy at all. I love this unit!

Simple to setup. All you need is to screw in the four legs onto the base, plug in and turn on. Small yet powerful enough to heat up a large room. The animated wood log burning is beautiful. Stylish looking too. I would definitely recommend using this in a family room or basement where it's cold and damp. It will warm it right up.

This small fireplace is perfect for smaller areas, it does not take up too much space (it is 15" x 25"). It was simple to install the 4 legs with the screws provided. It has a heavy duty 6' grounded cord.It does not get hot to the touch, unless you touch the metal heat unit on the bottom. The top, base, legs, and doors are constructed of plastic, the windows are tempered glass. It is not too heavy to lift, and I can change the location with ease. Although there is only one speed, the fan does a good job reaching across the room - and it is quiet! There is a dial to raise or lower the thermostat, and there is a lighted switch for heat and one for power. (The flames will flicker with or without the heat on. They use 2 40W bulbs.) The stove uses 1500 watts, and it cycles on and off while running to keep steady temperature. I do like that there is a temperature limiting control that shuts the unit off if it should overheat. The flames look realistic, relaxing, and cozy. Having a 3-sided view of the embers is awesome and I do enjoy that feature. I placed it in the kitchen where I can get some quick heat on those cold mornings - it performed very well this morning and took the chill out of the air. There was only the expected slight odor on initial heating, which was not strong or long lasting. The only thing I did not like is that the magnetic doors must be closed a certain way, or they do not close. I found 2 options for closing them: (1)close left door, then lift the right door up a bit while closing that one or (2)close both doors at same time by lining them up just before they reach the magnet. It's not a huge problem, and this unit may just be one that had an alignment defect. It does not affect the operation of the stove.

The Legacy Electric Stove reminds me of when I got to visit my Grandparents when I was a young child. Remembering the warmth of the past and enjoying it today in our own Family Room. While it is very hot outside, we can use the flame without the fan and heat and enjoy the view on three sides, quite calming after a long day. We really like the fact that the doors open it makes it feel and look of an old wood burning stove. It has a ten staged timer and will turn off automatically for safety. While waiting on colder weather to use heat, after turning it on we know it is a great addition to our family room, while adding memories and warmth for our grandchildren.

This stove is so nice in our great room. The one we had for over 10 years finally gave up and it took forever to find one that was a good size and fit in our log home decor. I heats our great room nicely and I like the controls better than our old one which we also loved. Highly recommend
