The chairs are great quality and sturdy. Relatively easy to assemble. Very happy with them!

So happy with these chairs! Perfect for our farmhouse table. I choose the color Moss and crossed my fingers it would look as shown on the monitor, thankfully it's not a green at all and more of a blue based grey. I was able to assemble the chairs myself and the directions were clear. I used the allen wrench provided and my own screw driver. The chairs are sturdy, level and comfortable. Even color and smooth paint. They by no means appear high end but are much nicer than the $89 price tag suggests.

Very sturdy, solid wood, easy to assemble. These chairs are great and look like they will last well. The chair base is already assembled and we just have to bolt that onto the back and front legs. This is done with wooden dowels, bolts (with spring washers and washers) and screws. Packaging is excellent with Styrofoam surrounding all parts and also filling interior spaces. The hardware parts are attached to the outer box with a red tether so they can’t get lost. Inside the bag were 7 smaller bags, each clearly babled and constainingthe exact number of items needed. A 5mm Allen wrench is supplied for tightening the bolts. I used my own 5mm hex tool for increased speed. Assembly was easy and the instructions are clear. The chairs are made from solid wood, well machined so that they fit together well. The base is strengthened with small metal brackets. Small nit picks (not enough to lose a star!) The instructions said we would need safety glasses and a spirit level. The steps make no mention of the spirit level, nor could one be used. What is needed, however, is a screwdriver. The instructions also say we should not use power tools, but one does need to drive in two screws that would require considerable effort without a power driver. The part label for the chair back (A) is attached on the back of the backrest. Removing the label leaves a small sticky area that needs some attention to remove properly. If the label was placed on the are where the seat attaches it would be invisible after assembly and would not have to be removed. Chair is rated for 280 lbs. (I suspect that they will handle more easily so long as one does not rock back on them)

China did well this time! These chairs are made well and made even better for assembly. 2 dowels (I used wood glue for one side of the dowels). 8 STRONG bolts 2 wood screws 8 washers x two different types; 16 in total. Slap in the dowels with or without wood glue (I did this so I would not lose them if and when I should have to disassemble the chairs. Grab one each of the washers place onto a bolt and screw in with the included hex wrench and screw into the pre fitted holes. Not into wood rather a metal female socket that makes assembly incredibly easy! None of the bolts gave me any problems! The chairs are strong, sturdy and solid. Friend of 250 lbs sat on them and chair made no complaint. The paint finish will last years: Not sure if the chair is painted or stained, regardless it has a polyurethane coat to protect. I decided to remove the paint to stain the chairs the color of my choice, it took about 40 minutes to get the paint and poly off (its on there well! The chairs are wood! And they look very good with or without paint! The wood has some character. Instructions are fairly good however, really not needed as assembly is so simple. Strongly recommend.

I received the chairs that I ordered from Stylewell today. The style is Farmhouse Slat Back Chair in the color cream. They were somewhat easy to put together but I would have liked that the diagrams of what parts go where could have been enlarged so it’s easy to read. Perhaps one page for each assembly or at least devote half, of the one page these diagrams were on. A very good looking chair, well made and the color was a very nice cream. Also the should have made the sticker that they put on the chair back identifying it as part A, an easy peel off sticker, for me it came of in bits and pieces. Because of the diagrams and the sticker I only gave these chairs 4 stars.

These chairs are attractive and easy to assemble. I did notice a split in the seat of one of them after a week or two - the split is not currently affecting the structural integrity or use of the chair, but it is a little worrisome, so I knocked a star off. Otherwise they're great - good value, and seem sturdy despite the split.
