can you vacuum this rug?

AnswerIt can be vacuumed, if you're using the beater type motor, we suggest you set it to the highest elevation so it's not too close to the pile in case the pile gets caught in the mechanism.

Nice 5' x 7' indoor rug with diamond design. Beige in color. The pile is like a shag rug. It's thick and longer pile. It's not a heavy rug and in one photo you can see the two corners are up because it was just rolled out so it will take some time for the corners to lay down properly. I like the design in the rug. It's more defined when the light hits the rug you can see the diamond design. This is a nice addition to my dining room.

The Valencia Shag; is very soft plush shag to the touch. The plush shag has different lengths to help show the pattern. The rug is made of Olefin pile that will take the daily use on walking on and durable. When you get the rug, you will have brush the pile to get the shag to stand up. Also, it does have an odor from the material they use and the dye, but the good news is it goes away in a few days. The size is 5’-3” x 7’-3”. I recommend to use a non-slip rug pad in order to prevent slipping on flat and smooth surfaces and also give it some extra padding. It is stain-resistant should be vacuum regularly. The rug is made is Turkey and is machine made.

i actually love this rug! Very soft and very stylish. It is shaggy, but doesnt shred or leave lint anywhere and its the perfect size. I took off one star because i think the color is definitely more gray than blue. It works for me, but i was really hoping for a deeper navy color as show on the picture. I uploaded two pictures to show the difference between warm and cool lighting, but still looks gray in my opinion.
I love the subtle diamond pattern, which is created by bits of taller fibers. It's super soft and I find myself sitting on the floor instead of my couch sometimes. Feels like I am in a cozy holiday home

Very nice! Just what I expected from the description. It is soft and definitely a shag carpet. At least an inch and a half long twisted strands. The color is very nice white and gray and feels good to walk on. It was shipped nicely packaged and surprisingly it rolled out fairly flat. It didn’t take long before it relaxed and rested flat against the floor. Very pleased!

From the moment I opened this Valencia Shag carpet, I loved it! It. Is so well made and shades of gray make it look so rich. The backing is also very well made so that no padding is required unless personal taste preferred. It would compliment any decor and is versatile so that it could be used in a family room, bedroom, or den. My children enjoy laying on it while watching tv.

In the many years that I maintained a commercial Interior Design we often needed these carpets to bring color to a room or even sometimes hide a problem or a serious flaw. Shaggy rugs have always just seemed to fit right in any decor to me. This StyleWell Valencia is only 5x7 but because of the diamond, trellis pattern it looks even larger. Very lightweight, which is a plus but you will definitely need a rug pad or you can caulk some clear silicone on back if placing on a solid surface floor. The diamond, trellis pattern is very pronounced and makes the rug versatile. I’m using in a bedroom but this rug will also look fantastic in a foyer, den or contemporary dining area. The pile appears to be one inch long but is supposed to fill out after some time. Nice, durable jute backing but not non-slip. Great price. Contemporary, versatile gray color
