Wolcott 48 in. Media Console Electric Fireplace in Brown Oak

I just bought and assembled this unit yesterday. I used the suggested BILT app - it took 4 hours. Looks great, but when the fireplace is on there is a constant "clunking" noise. I will be returning/exchanging it with the hope that it was a fluke.

The quality of this product is cheap. It's trash basically "particle board". I won't even use it to hold my TV. I had to get rid of it after a day. I'ts not even worth the price I paid for it. I made the mistakes of trusting the 5 star reviews. I'm not going to even bother asking for my money back.

It took several hours to put together but it is a good product. Aesthetically pleasing but there is no changing the heater temperature. It’s either on or off

I love it have wanted one for years holds my 58" tv almost perfectly and plenty of room for all of the nintendo systems. It's about half hard woods a mdf it it's hard wood in the important areas which it's hard to find anything in this quality without spending $500 so I was more than happy with the quality. Took 2 hours to set up by myself.Kids all love the fire place feature and it's nice to get the chill out. I have zero complaints so far

I really love the look of this stand and the ambiance that the fireplace gives off. It puts out a great amount of heat, although it is a little loud. It came with a lot of pieces and screws, which made me a little nervous but my son in law put it together very easily in 2 hours!

Beautiful piece of furniture took about 2hrs to put together. Directions are easy to follow. Overall pleased with my purchase.

This fireplace is elegant and it’s easy to move it around.

This has been amazing in our living room of our townhouse. The only reason that I would not give 5 stars is because it seems to be a little loud when running the heat on it and we have to turn the tv up but other than that it does the job of warming up the living room and making the room very cozy.

I am a single mom and did this on my own. It looks good though even without the back piece not on properly. I tried. I put it together myself. No man had the patience to help me. When it came nothing was damaged. Everything was fine. The only thing I didn't like is that I had to Indo and align the lines with the bolts which I just couldn't get it right so the stand is not completely put together. Also if you don't be careful, the wood would chip away. It's not that firm. .

I am putting this together piece by piece. I got the majority of it down now it’s just putting it all together connecting everything. The base piece broke off. It will not be able to be used until I go to Home Depot and buy some wood to screw in there to keep it level. I can’t return it because if already cut one of the boxes up. It was super Heavy trying to get it in my apartment. It looked good and sounded like a good idea. I have it in the middle of my living room just all over the place. Is very poor quality. I haven’t even opened the electrical fireplace unit yet. I just wasted $200 bucks. I would like to just throw this in a dumpster and call it a loss

Just bought this last night and we are very pleased with it for the price. Very sturdy. And we turned the fireplace on and we think it heats up good but we only are using it in our spare bedroom. Did not think it was loud what so ever! We bought the floor model as this was the last one at our store so we can not comment on the assembly.

It definitely works heat wise and stunning to look at but it took HOURS to put together. It was very time consuming. It also had a couple flaws/scratches we noticed when we were unpacking. For the price I say it’s good quality and sturdy but I wish there weren’t any scratches considering we paid $200 for it. It’s like the finish is peeling off or something..

Bought this fireplace for my small sitting area, it’s a great piece to look at however it’s heat output is very minimal. You only get one setting also. If I didn’t need the heat and only wanted it for decoration I would give it a much better rating. And oh yeah, whomever said it was easy to assemble ......nope .....it was tedious and confusing and took my whole day to assemble!

I had purchased a similar TV stand with fireplace from a popular retailer but it wasn't half as well made or nice as this piece and it cost much more. I love the dark wood color and this looks like real wood! It is strong and sturdy and looks more expensive than It is. Assembly took me about three hours by myself and it was not too hard because I also used the app instructions they provide for you. The only problem was that I had to create holes but only about 4 of them and it wasn't hard to do. I am 44 years old and I'm not a carpenter by any means but this was a great project and I'm going to enjoy this this winter sitting by my fireplace, reading and drinking cocoa while staying safe!

The quantity of the pieces are miserable. Mine came with parts warped and holes misaligned. I spent 4 hours trying to put it together, I have since broken it back down. Now I get to try and return it. I have no idea how I will as I had this delivered. But I'll leave it at the return line for then to toss in the dumpster themselves if I have to.

I purchased mine from Home Depot last weekend, and seeing them on the shelf at Home Depot really does not do them justice. First I am a 62 year old do-it-yourselfer, so I muscled it up a few large steps of my porch and jimmied it up to the third step to my upstairs LR then decided I better get help and called my neighbor. We then laid it down and slid it up the stairs. When we opened the box there were three boxes in the box, so had I known this, and judging by the size of the box assumed it was assembled, I would have broken the box open and brought the individual pieces in, and would not have needed any help. The next morning I laid out all the pieces and hardware in numerical order and downloaded the 3D app. I love this app! It froze up sometimes, but worth every bit of hassle. Other than finding two dowels it said to insert that had no holes on the other end when I got to it, everything was perfect. I determined the dowels were not truly necessary and just pulled them back out. This is a beautiful piece of furniture first of all. The heater and appearance look great. Only one temp, would be nice with more, but for the money it is a great value. My upstairs is 850sf, so at first I closed the doors to the other rooms so it would heat up the kitchen and LR. This was on a 30 degree night. It quickly warmed the areas up to 76, so I opened all the doors back up because it was doing so well, and it stayed a very comfortable 74. This is a great value for the money if you are willing to assemble it with great 3d instruction. A very attractive piece of furniture as well.

Broke after one day. Took an afternoon to build and home depot wont exchange unless you disassemble it to return it. It is garbage and so is home depot. Dont buy this

So we paid 200$- is it worth it? I think 150$ is a more fair price we downloaded the app to follow assembly/ somethings did not have holes that should of been there, and one piece flat out broke off when we flipped it over we had to screw it back in and use some wood glue to hold. It took us 3 hours to assemble and we never took a break it was us just unboxing and working straight through. We bought this to sit over our existing fireplace that we never use . Only one what setting and it’s not silent - it sounds like an electric heater like it is... overall we like it and it works for us

Took my husband about two hours to put together. All parts were included as well as a marker in case it gets scratched. Can’t beat the price! Heats up the main level in our townhome perfectly. Looks so pretty & it’s sturdy. We are very happy with our purchase.

I originally ordered this online because it wasn't shown that it was in-store at a close-by store. I cancelled online order, which was an easy phone call, then bought the in-store one. The store was extremely helpful in locating it, and assisting in loading it. There were a million working parts which seemed a bit overwhelming and daunting. It did take a LONG time to assemble but we downloaded the installation app and played it on the TV. Much easier than the installation book and step by step instructions were spot on. There were a few kinks, especially some hard to reach areas which required braces. Also there were numerous screws in the back panels, use a drill with a small phillips head for these. We didn't put the screws in the shelves because you had to insert the pegs into the holes, then put in the shelf, then lay down to insert the screws in t he bottom, which wouldn't have allowed any moving the shelves to another height without taking all the screws out again. It's plenty sturdy without the screws. Color wasn't exactly what is pictured, but it's a pretty unit and we have already enjoyed it. One fun fact, the fireplace comes on when we use our TV remote to turn down the volume of the TV, what's that about??? Here's a picture of the finished product. I would recommend it for a cheaper fireplace unit if you have the time and the patience to put it together. Get the app!

It’s beautiful! It’s a strong and sturdy piece of furniture that definitely does not look like it cost $199. It is a much better quality than you would expect for that price. I’m amazed at how solid it is. I expected maybe a little bit cheaper quality but nope! It’s solid with no cheap flimsy boards. It’s just as good if not better than the more expensive models in furniture stores. The instructions were extremely easy. I didn’t use the app because I thought it would have been more time consuming and it was time consuming. It took me a total of 4 hours by myself but the steps were not very difficult. It’s truly a beautiful piece of furniture.

This TV stand electric fireplace looks great when finished, has a good elevation to see at eye level while in bed or seated, and the heater works enough for "warm night in front of the fire", but you wont heat a big room with this. My girlfriend was pleased! I am doing this review after only one night of use. The Flame is effect isn't perfectly natural looking, but for the price it looks great and the the flame and three different setting for varied appeal. Very solid and sturdy piece, we dont have kids, just a cat, but its does come with securing wall mounts. Im giving the piece an overall 4/5. Only thing about this unit that was stressful was the build. They recommend using only a screwdriver but that would have taken the whole day. With a drill, ratchet, screwdriver and bit extender I still spent about 3 hours on this thing! Best done with two people for safe quick results. Be ready to take your time if you dont want to make this an all day project! Overall I like and i'd say its def worth 200$

Easy to assemble, every predrilled hole lined up to perfection. Easy to follow instructions. Well crafted and would definitely purchase again.
