These quick-assembling, affordable pools bring family fun and relaxation to any backyard. Summer Waves Elite pools are up to 80% stronger than other frame pools, so they will withstand rigorous use. They are constructed of super durable heavy gauge PVC composite material and are reinforced with an inner layer of polyester mesh for super strength (similar to river raft material). In addition to superior strength, Summer Waves Elite pools feature our Skimmer Plus filtration system. Unlike other frame pools, this pool has a functioning surface skimmer that keeps your pool free from leaves and bugs. The integral cartridge and skimmer basket are easy to remove and clean. Skimmer Plus can accommodate 1 in. chlorine tablets that are added in the cartridge to keep your water clean and safe (not included). Package includes pool and frame, filtration system, sturdy ladder with safety barrier, pool cover, and maintenance kit. Assembly required; instruction manual included. Glad I did. It takes money and work to install a pool properly. You can't just throw this pool up in an unprepared yard and expect no issues. After our own experience, I feel fairly certain most of these poor reviews are from people who did just that. If you DO NOT want to invest in ground prep, have time to clean the filter everyday, or test/treat water with appropriate chemicals; this is NOT the pool for you. You will most likely have issues with liner tears and filter/water clarity. Intial prep: we leveled, built a heavy duty containment framining for the area, added sand, tamped it solid, under the pool we placed a purchased pool underlay, and once set we added decorative rock around the pool to prevent sand erosion. Installing was easy, instructions ok, requires a bit of patience to make sure it's wrinkle free, as any pool does. I definitely wouldn't let pets in/around the pool or excessive horseplay within, the pool itself is thin, I'm sure it wouldn't take to much to puncture. As expected with any above ground pool under 1,000 dollars.. Ladder is sturdy, holds up to 300 pounds. Vaccume works well, although the adjustable length handle is a pain to keep adjusted out. Cover is very thin and requires 2+ people to put on/off, definitly the "cheapest" made part and if I could rate it alone, 1 star for sure. The filter is doing fine. We remove the filter cartridge daily and spray it clean with a water hose. We replace the cartridge with a fresh one weekly. I'm not so thrilled of the side mount. I really don't care for the skimmer basket style of pump. Problem being, if it does stop working, we can only purchase the same type/brand of pump for the unique hook up. With overall performance of the pump, I would give it 4 stars, but am sure without proper chemical levels and diligent cartridge cleaning water clarity would of course be an issue. If you've never owned a pool, the pump does doesn't magically keep it 100% debris free. Still requires vaccuming and skimming. It's meeting our needs and is the expected quality without any issues, 4 stars overall is fair I feel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from About the product The pool is easy to assemble, but it must be put on a flat, level surface. I would not put it on grass. They say not to use sand, but I used swimming pool quality sand, crushed lime stone and compacted it, and it worked fine. On top of the compacted sand and limestone, I used a gorilla pad. The pool liner/casing seems very strong and the structure is easy to assemble, but use at least 3 people to help. I have only had it 3 weeks, but no problems yet.

It was a perfect size for my kids to play in. It was also fairly easy to put together. My husband and I put it up on May 20, 2017. However, yesterday (June 17th) we notice that it is rusting at almost every joint. It's been up for less than one month. How can a pool that cost $748.15 (plus tax) rust in less than one month. You would think that after paying this amount of money the life expectancy would be at least 2-3 years not one month. That is unacceptable. I would have given the pool 5 stars but because of the rust I am rating it 1 star. I will be calling Home Depot on Monday to see what can be done.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The Worst! Do Not Buy!!! Last year we purchased this pool and had to upgrade the pump. No problem. This year we found a leak in the liner that wouldn't hold the fix so we bought another liner. Put together during the 90 days and started to use the pool. After about 30-45 days it started to leak as well. We have tried several leak fixes to no avail. We now loose about 2-3" of water daily (with the fix) We have no children using this pool and so we two adults who do use this very gingerly. We now will be forced to buy another pool, but it won't be this one. We have no choice but to purchase another above ground pool as we can not have an in ground pool. We are on septic tank and can't dig. This is not our first above ground pool, but it is our first with this brand and our next on will not by this brand.
